Definitely a nice Outsider thing. Here is the trailer to Ils which i reccomend highly as well. It was the tail end of the French New New Wave like early 2000s, Amelie, Haut Tension, Fifth Element. Them scary Romanians!

The film is psychological horror, released in the early 60s starring Bette Davies and Joan Crawford. It is the first psycho horror film I watched. I think I was 11-12 years old. So good a freaking classic ... the original Wait Until Dark the Omen watched this recently is was decent and has its moments...

I watched Late Night With the Devil in the cinema when it came out, it was really nice one to see outdoors instead of at home cuz it was like you were in the audience at the television show ! Really well done indie film.

The Omen for me.
Years ago was watching it with my then lodger. On the stroke of midnight we had a power cut. She was terrified....
I now know why I am called a grown up. Every time I get up I groan.
