Selective reporting and clever editing, they always leave the entire story out or try to frame in a way that is opposite of his very obvious behavior and opinions, it's fun to watch he's the goat at trolling.

At no point did any rational thinking person think that. You just imagine the worse and assume it's reality with zero evidence to indicate you had anything to be worried about in the first place. Violent and unlawful  demonstrations were escalating.  Actual citizens were in danger, and the local leadership allowed the violence and took no action to stop it. The federal government had to step in to protect actual legal citizens from violent criminal actions that were escalating.

All rational people take him at his word and he said "Anyone...ANYONE...who protests will be met with 'heavy force'.

When was the last time Marines were deployed in America?

Is this even the worst riot of the last 10 years? No, so why would this be the first time in over 50 years we deployed National Guard against a Governors wishes, with added marines no less.

Normalizing this type of decision making from a president just opens the door for more of it in the future, by every president, left or right. I remember the right used to talk about state rights, and limiting federal power. I remember the right talking about Obama prepping to use Walmarts as military holding places.

An Army General said today that they could carry out arrests too, even though the Insurrection Act hasn't been invoked. It's incredible to watch people suddenly celebrate actions like this just because it's against their opponents.
