Then, as is the case with those that did not come here illegally, they are not the problem. 

If those that are there peacefully are not "getting out of dodge" then they should rethink what they are actually there for. one does not stick around a fight if they do not plan on getting in that fight.

Would you not avoid a riot if you were in the area? Why would you stick around if the cause had broken down to anarchy?

I've never said that anyone doesn't have the right to peacefully protest/assemble. Why not move that away from those that chose to make it all about violence and hate? Seems only logical, does it not? 

Did you watch the videos? The one lady reporter was not "some distance away", she was right on top of those that were being violent and caught a stray pellet or ricochet. Did she deserve to get hit with that, no. If you are going to play next to the fire, you can get burned. 

Not sure about the one photographer that claims he was deliberately shot with a rubber slug in the head. The "wound" that is pictured is not one that is in line with someone who was shot with a rubber slug. So again, not sure what actually happened there. 

If you, as an innocent person, are going to intermingle with violent agitators, you cannot expect to be 100% protected. Just not possible

So then all of the rioting, looting, and attacking innocent people that was happening before, the NG was sent in, just didn't happen? Or is that just delusion in the minds of those that were watching everything unfold from the beginning? 

If it had been under control, it would not have been happening and getting worse.....but yeah, the NG showing up is what popped everything off.  Keep telling yourself that, maybe one day it will come true

2. National Guard Deployment:
   • AP News (June 9, 2025) states that National Guard troops were seen in Los Angeles early Sunday, June 8, 2025, on orders from President Donald Trump, following clashes between federal immigration authorities and protesters. The deployment of 2,000 California National Guard troops was ordered after a second day of clashes (Saturday, June 7), over the objections of Governor Gavin Newsom.
     
   • The Washington Post (June 10, 2025) confirms that hundreds of National Guard troops arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 8, 2025, marking the third day of protests, to quell the anti-ICE demonstrations.
     
   • The BBC (June 11, 2025) notes that Trump deployed a total of 4,000 National Guard members across affected areas, including 2,000 to Los Angeles, with the deployment beginning on Sunday, June 8, 2025, after invoking a rarely-used federal law.
