Interesting news about medical scientists looking for a preventative vaccine for the Andes hantavirus, specifically.
----
"Research efforts are primarily focused on developing preventive vaccines rather than a post-infection cure: - Vaccine Development: Scientists, including virologist Jay Hooper at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, have completed Phase 1 clinical trials for an Andes virus DNA vaccine that induces neutralizing antibodies. However, the vaccine requires a complex three-dose regimen and faces hurdles in funding and conducting Phase 3 trials due to the virus's rarity.
- Antibody Therapeutics: Researchers are developing antibody-based products, such as SAB-163, generated from genetically modified cows. This potent antibody product has shown protection against the Andes virus in animal models but has not yet entered human clinical trials.
- mRNA Technology: Companies like EnsiliTech are utilizing mRNA technology to create vaccines, employing a method called "ensilication" to allow for room-temperature transport. These efforts are still in preclinical stages, with early human trials likely years away.
Despite these efforts, the Andes virus remains untreatable with specific antivirals. The drug ribavirin, while effective for other forms of hantavirus like hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, has not demonstrated effectiveness for Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS) caused by the Andes strain and is not licensed for its treatment. Yeah, interesting how they have been working on a preventative for some time now.
Let's face it, make it a preventative and you have a continuous stream of income, as opposed to sporadic and not a continuous stream of income.
Add to that, when they work on these things, they also do those lovely gain-of-function things too.
Just my view, but this whole hanta scheme is by design to prove that every country needs to sign up to WHO's worldwide pandemic plan

I would hazard a guess because hantavirus is so rare that the notion of a continuous steady stream of income is not a viable argument. At present they have funding woes to continue the search for treatments, never mind cures.
" Yes, scientists have been working on hantavirus treatments and vaccines for decades, but none are currently approved or widely available for human use.
Research efforts are currently hindered by limited funding and the rarity of outbreaks, which makes large-scale clinical trials difficult. While promising candidates exist in laboratories, experts estimate that a publicly available vaccine or specific antiviral cure is likely years away. - Current Standard of Care: There is no specific cure or approved antiviral treatment; clinicians rely on supportive care, such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and dialysis for severe cases.
- Vaccine Development: Several groups are developing vaccines, including a DNA-based vaccine by Jay Hooper’s team and an mRNA vaccine using "ensilication" technology by researchers at the University of Bath and Moderna. These aim to prevent infection but are still in preclinical or early clinical stages.
- Therapeutic Research: Scientists are investigating antibody treatments derived from survivors' blood and repurposed antivirals like favipiravir, but these require significant investment to move from animal studies to human trials." (LLM)

Like firemen that start commit arsen to insure employment. Stop the next pandemic by not planning and funding them.

Take a look at this.

Scrolling down there is a clip about the Andes Hantavirus. The itinerary of the cruise ship includes a stop at Ascension Island. That might be the link where it was contracted.
The outbreak in Argentina started in 2018 and ended March 2019. Then we have Covid declared March 2020.
Oddly that is a similar timeline to the Lumpy Skin disease outbreak in cattle in India.

All we can do is hope that these rogue scientists like Ralph Baric and Vincent Munster get some quality time at club Gitmo.
Brazzaville is very close to Kimshasa where Ebola outbreak #16 took place in September 2025.

But COVID spreads mainly from person to person through airborne transmission.
Hantavirus(HPS) usually spreads by inhaling dust contaminated with infected rodent urine.
As far as i can tell, hantavirus is a lot harder to contract from other infected humans compared to COVID.
Vincent Munster has been working on making viruses airborne using Ralph Baric's genome.
The question is have they successfully tinkered to make the Andes Hantavirus airborne?

You know I have been going on and on about their plan for the next outbreak of Ebola in DR Congo. It was clearly communicated in the books I have been covering.
It has happened-
#17 EBOLA outbreak.
The vaccine does not work against this strain. These poor people.
Everything is by the numbers. January 1 to May 15= 135 days 365-135= [23]0
Rory Gates birthday is May 23...23-15= 8
Now for the burning question- is the Andes Hantivirus a distraction from the main event

Update on the hantavirus tracking and extension of quarantine period:
"The MV Hondius cruise ship hantavirus outbreak has resulted in 10 confirmed or probable cases globally, including 3 deaths, according to the World Health Organization. While the WHO assesses the global risk as low with no sign of a larger outbreak, new cases continue to emerge among passengers and their contacts.
Recent Key Developments:- Canada: One of four Canadians isolating in British Columbia has tested presumptive positive for the Andes strain of hantavirus. Additionally, 26 more Canadians are being contacted as low-risk exposure from flights associated with the outbreak.
- United States: The CDC reports no confirmed cases among Americans; however, 41 individuals are under monitoring, including 18 quarantined at the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit.
- International: A French national remains in intensive care in Paris, and a Spanish evacuee has tested positive. The ship is currently sailing to Rotterdam, Netherlands, for final disembarkation and sanitation.
Health officials emphasize that the Andes strain can rarely transmit between humans but is not considered to have pandemic potential. Quarantine periods are being extended to 42 days in many jurisdictions due to the virus's long incubation period." (LLM)

As far as i can establish, there's no credible evidence that Vincent Munster or Ralph Baric made the Andes Hantavirus airborne.
Else point me in the direction, post a link, and I'll happily have a look...
