It happens so often it is almost like it has a purpose.

Everyone gets all riled up. It spirals into an engaging back and forth designed to go nowhere, and goes until everyone runs out of steam and needs to recharge. 

IDK, maybe humans are like Rick Sanchez's battery, and our keyboards power his car? Our universe was created to be fed vitriol until we go on our "Trolloltypers" and provide energy.
