You blame the defenders when they are threatened from abroad and do something about it. Much like those that arrest homeowners when robbers get hurt in a robbery. 

If your neighbor is shooting towards your house and the police aren't responding when called, what do you do? My father told the police they had 5 minutes before he would start shooting back. The police arrived in 3 minutes at the neighbors house.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?
