Give it time, DI is not ATS, thank goodness and perhaps others from different countries and religions will find DI and we can endeavour to welcome them and their differences with a welcoming and a desire to understand attitude.
I remember all sorts, mate. LoL
I seem to recall that at one point, there were a couple of Muslims on the threads, but not everyone from the Middle East is Muslim or extremist.
I think they were from the UK, i could be wrong.
It's just the picture we get painted for us on the NEWS.
Just seems like the Middle Eastern demographic is kind of lacking.
I could be wrong, i suppose.
Anybody here from the Middle East, Muslim, pink, purple, green, or any other flavor?
As to differences, i tend to find most people want the same to similar things in life, no matter where they hail from.
But yeah, we are not all the same, even if we should endeavor to treat each other with a modicum of equality.
If for no other reason than its good manners.

There's nothing wrong with exploring other perspectives
Discord, X, and even Reddit have all flavors... but it's so many that it's hard to have a coherent long-format discussion.
It's a good broad perspective, like the Kurds' perspective gets some play.
The Mossad Farsi threads always have decent, solid OSI from all directions.

It just degenerates into madness sometimes.
Kind of the same reason i gave up playing COD online. ;)
It's nice to have a safe space of sorts.
As to Twitter/X, never done it, for the same to similar above reasonings.

One can pretend the Farsi perspective doesn't exist, but it's alive and well is absolutely part of the broader "authentic" perspective

FATWA: Iran’s Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi — one of the most senior Shia clerics in Qom — has issued a ruling declaring that threats against Khamenei by President Trump and others amount to a “war against Islam.” Remaining silent is “haram,” he says, and Muslims must respond with “severe punishment.” Full Text: In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful It is clear that threatening the leader of the Islamic world, as well as the esteemed sources of emulation, is a war against Islam. According to the Quranic verse “Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against God and His Messenger…”, this act carries a severe punishment. Strengthening the front of Muslims and the unity of Islamic ranks is an obligation. I consider it haram (forbidden) to remain silent in the face of such threats. It is necessary for Muslims around the world to strongly condemn these threats and to take appropriate and united action. May God preserve the Islamic community from the evil of enemies under the protection of the Imam of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance), and reward the righteous defenders.

Yes, it does appear we all do want the same things in life, but these pyramid-scheme societal/government/economic/colonization set ups are bringing the pyramid world house of cards down.

An interesting take from Col. Macgregor, again.
U.S.-Iran conflict has just begun.

I rarely comment, but I do read
If something is up, it pops on Discord and X.com FIRST, usually with plenty of properly sourced information.

I dont mind Discord, tried it when ATS used to go down, but the format was not for me.
Too much like the old IRC.

Define "proper sourcing"?
Something threads or posts that have a "Q" connection rarely, if ever, have....
https://disboard.org/server/reviews/1108138416660557926
I suggest go post bullshit opinions seen here on DI(some of my opinions included) on a serious OSI server, it gets called out immediately and repeatedly, if you post shit too often you get banned.
The Middle East conflict updates have no commenting, just posts on information, which, if not already sourced properly, is easily verifiable.
Hell, anything Israeli/Iran-related usually hits the Jerusalem Post/Al Jazeera fairly quickly, WION too
If not, verification is 1 or 2 clicks away.
