Yes it is scripted because we as a society are at a stage where the social behavior of any society can be predicted up to a certain point. There are only three things a society can do when it reaches a critical point. It can Empire build Have a civil war or elect a King. Every society in History goes through these predictable changes but guess what, it all has to lead to collapse so a new system can get going.
These people know this, and are trying to make it go their way, even Tehran has signed up to be a fifteen-minute city. All they are fighting over is the people who are going to be in charge of it.If you want to stay safe and keep out of it until the dust settles you just have to find a spot to hang out until it is over.
The minutiae of how it happens isn't that important but knowing that it is inevitable goes a long way for long term planning.
If anyone is interested my favorite trends forecaster gives a brief history lesson on what always happens to a society over time. What is left out is something new in the equation which is AI which is basically the slave, and as it aways has been the slave and the underclass which always tend to revolt I wonder where that leaves us? Either way it is all to do with the "Elite" "rent seeking behavior" But even if you have a dumb slave class composed of biological material, or a metal plastic mix does the difference prevent a collapse I doubt it. When you get through the bronze age collapse it starts to look familiar. Civilization #6: Elite Overproduction and the Bronze Age Collapse

Seems to me they would have stood down regardless. Iran's friends are only its friends outwardly, not in spirit. It doesn't make sense for any of them to stick their neck out to help Iran in a conflict it's bound to lose.

Is it worth saying it? The left breaks down barriers, the right rolls in the new order. You changed the art in the cold war, you changed it now.
I wonder

Im not paying for the Bloomberg article either, the sour grapes are in the post, if you haven't ever read a Bloomberg headline about Trump in the last 8 years, my attempt at humor may not have had anywhere to take root.
The Bloomberg quote you're talking about which supposedly contains the sour grapes:
Bloomberg Wrote:Iran spent decades expanding its reach in the Middle East by building a network of partners that came to be known as the “axis of resistance.” Yet it found itself standing alone to face the recent strikes by Israel and the US. Here's what to know.
Your words were:
Quote:This reads like a sour grapes admittance coming from Bloomberg on something Trump did, speaks volumes.
My question was, can you clarify where Bloomberg states that Trump is responsible for Iran's friends standing down? In fact they don't state this at all. Their post doesn't mention Trump, not even indirectly. Their point is that Iran's efforts to build the "axis of resistance" have proven fruitless, that their friends are not really their friends. Since this is not making any statement about Trump, and you seem to think it is, I asked you to clarify why you think that. You then refer me back to your initial post as if that explains it. It doesn't.
You also said:
Quote:When the time came, Iranian "friends" stood down because of one man
This one man being Trump, no doubt. Since it's unclear how this is in any way Trump's doing, I also asked you to clarify why you're crediting him. This too remains unanswered.

Israel, and now the US, have given Iran every reason they need to rethink their stated resistance toward a nuclear weapons (as opposed to a nuclear power and research) program.
It would, from Iran's viewpoint, appear that any country without nuclear weapons in their arsenal is, and will be, potentially subject to attack by nuclear-armed nations.
The recent attack by US bombers on Iran's nuclear facilities has not brought an end to Iran's nuclear program, nor delayed its ability to process uranium to near-, or possibly full- weapons grade enrichment for anything more than 6 months, and has failed to account for up to 900lbs of near weapons-grade enriched uranium already processed and still in Iran's control. This is according to US intelligence sources such as the DIA, Pentagon analysts, and the VP Vance.
If these sources are accurately reporting, all we have accomplished is to have "wounded" Iran, although far from mortally. And a wounded animal, especially an intelligent wounded animal, is far more dangerous.
What I find most worrisome is the fact that, as outlined, Iran now has no reason not to develope a nuclear weapon, if for no other reason than as a sort of "poison pill".
At this time, and under existing circumstances, such a device would most certainly be quite crude by modern standards. It would most likely not even be deployable by any form of aircraft or ballistic missile.
But that does not mean that it could not be delivered to its intended target. Or targets, in as much as "simple and crude" often translates to quick and easy to build in quantity.
Although, where nuclear weapons are concerned, "simple and crude" might be better defined as "quick and Dirty".
Anyone know how much weapons-grade uranium can be made from the apparently missing 900lds of near weapons-grade uranium Iran still controls?
Anyone know how much weapons-grade enriched uranium is needed to make the simplest, crudest, functional nuclear warhead?
Anyone know how many ships, boats, submarines, cargo trucks, etc. might be fleeing Iran with very special cargoes?

So? What’s that mean? Like nearly winning a 12 day war that all started with Iran fighting proxy wars. Where shipping lanes were openly attacked. Not so sure people are comfortable with a terrorist state that promotes martyrdom over human rights and actively attacking shipping lanes from a culture that promotes holding hostages thinks they passed the international background check for nuclear warheads.

just had a fun dive into iran's bank which has a great english-version website: https://cbi.ir/default_en.aspx

exceed the rates stipulated in the mentioned Circular.
4- In introducing any new products or projects for mobilizing deposits, banks and credit
institutions are obligated to set and announce the effective deposit rates, based on CBI prior
approval.
5- As before, banks and credit institutions cannot open term investment deposit accounts with

measures, all violators including the managers and employees of banks and credit institutions

CNN and New York Times aren't exactly trustworthy sources, have been proven to be biased and wrong over and over, yet many are quick to accept what they say as fact cuz' it fits their narrative of 'Trump bad no matter what'.
Everyone, including President Trump, should be waiting for the battlefield assessment to be made, which will take time.
