He doesn’t want to be in charge. He wants to see a democratic, open Iran.

Be careful, U.S. intervention in the Middle East tend to turn enemies into allies.
Iran’s allies in the Middle East: who are the like-minded forces and their main enemies? - AS USA
With how long the US has been involved in the Middle East, especially with the intervention in protecting shipping lanes and supporting Isreal, why would this change anything.

The post I responded to seemed to imply he would be the next leader.

What will change is because of this new distraction, Israel can now take over Gaza completely as was always the plan.

Is that why Isreal tried giving up land for peace. Maybe all Hamas has to do was not keep launching missiles and rockets with only civilians as targets.

He isn't gonna be the supreme leader, he will lead an interim government. No more, no less
He is also a proponent of a free referendum in Iran to determine the nature of the future government

Quote:
Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the last shah (a royal title equivalent to a king) of Iran and the former crown prince, said that plans are in place for a 100-day transitional period if the Islamic Republic regime falls.
In a Tuesday video statement in Farsi, Pahlavi sought to reassure Iranians that opposition forces have a plan for the country’s future.
“Iran will not descend into civil war or instability,” he said. “We are prepared for the first 100 days of the transitional period after the fall, and for the establishment of a national and democratic government by the Iranian people and for the Iranian people.”
Pahlavi also directed part of his message to military, police, and state workers, many of whom he said have contacted him in recent days.
“Do not stand against the Iranian people for the sake of a regime whose fall has begun and is inevitable,” he said. “By standing with the people, you can save your lives... and take part in building Iran’s future.”

Israel and the U.S. are only interested in occupation, oil/gas, and rare mineral resources - never peace, that I ever saw. Follow the money.
"This is the end. The final blood-soaked chapter of the genocide. It will be over soon. Weeks. At most. Two million people are camped out amongst the rubble or in the open air. Dozens are killed and wounded daily from Israeli shells, missiles, drones, bombs and bullets. They lack clean water, medicine and food. They have reached a point of collapse. Sick. Injured. Terrified. Humiliated. Abandoned. Destitute. Starving. Hopeless."

Have these sites been "obliterated"?
Jury is out on that.
As is a full scale War in the ME.
I'm guessing that Trump's desire to get a Nobel Peace Prize is "on hold".
Not looking forward to what happens next.
Still no evidence presented for this.
Which is worrying.
'l'll just check my Giveashitometer....Nope. Nothing...
