Trump says he bombed Iran

Another ship hit...
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."
In another negotiations win for Trumps team, Israel is now required to cede land to Hezbollah/Iran.
Quote:Israel will withdraw from two areas in southern Lebanon, transferring the sites to the Lebanese military, under an initial agreement signed Friday after four days of talks in Washington.
The deal, which both sides framed as a first step, comes as Israel has been waging a sustained war against Lebanese militant group, Hezbollah. Israeli attacks on the group in Lebanon have complicated efforts to secure a lasting peace agreement between the United States and Iran.

Winning
Iran reporting explosions in the south. Sky. Having a pizza so can't time to get th link as on tele
"When you are here for the good of the planet and humanity, the other levels are always trying to protect you in times of danger."
So Iran is clearly in the wrong. They violated the seize fire they agreed to.  They are a menace attacking cargo ships that are passing through the Hormuz strait. FAFO  Eureka

Yet there are still a few leftists  clinging to their nonsense beliefs about Trump.  Lol

Well, there were no Gestapo who weren't Hitler supporters. America isn’t a fascist state, but Trump and his administration are trying their best to change that, and so far they have met little real opposition.

That’s true. Freedom of speech is fetishized in the USA, so it will be the last right to be removed. But we may yet hope that things do not reach that pass.

Incidentally, there are plenty of freelance speech police in the US. You remember Dylan’s song, ‘Motorpsycho Nightmare’?

I said, ‘I like Fidel Castro, I think you heard me right’
And I ducked as he swung at me with all his might
Rita mumbled somethin' 'bout her mother on the hill
As his fist it hit the icebox, he said he's gonna kill
Me if I don’t get out the door in two seconds flat
‘You unpatriotic, rotten doctor Commie rat!’

I know that there are vast tracts of the United States where the honest citizens will rearrange your face – or worse – if you give them an inkling that your views on religion or politics differ too radically from theirs. Americans are phobic about government tyranny but don't seem to notice all the private exploitation and bullying that oppresses them. They work like slaves for their employers, have few labour rights, are ripped off by gluttonous capitalists every way they turn (effectively a different and onerous form of taxation levied by profiteers instead of bureaucrats) and now even have their public speech regulated for them by the likes of Zuckerberg and Musk.

Land of the Free, eh? I hear they used to call it the Home of the Brave, too.

I am not that apathetic yet.

Yeah, nihilist me says, I am merely a wage slave, cog, useful empath getting indoctrinated to believe in artificial devices constructed by humans seeking to exploit the lesser peons of existence.

But I dont want to be anywhere else and fuck the red pill.

The Artificial is necessary. The human devised rules to order society are a given, but I am not ready to give up on the ideal of ours yet, I still believe ENOUGH people will see how they've been deceived to take back the government before we have an irreversible Orban Dynasty.

As far as the social media Free Speech part goes, I am in the similar role as one of Musk's Moderators for now... I represent a private social media network and am allowed to cultivate whatever content the owner requests be cultivated.

Social Media IS NOT a free speech soap box for anyone but the owner, who is the only one protected by the constitution in the equation.

So If you go on X and said, "The Owner of X, Elon Musk, is a tool that reposts insensitive vile shit like the racist white South African he is,"  you could get your words taken.

If you went on pre-Elon Twitter, you could get anti-vax comments taken to uphold Twitter's first amendment rights to choose to cave to a senile potato pressuring them to go on a covid disinformation ban-spree.

But as long as you can still stand on the sidewalk outside their headquarters and hold a sign saying the same thing, no freedom is really lost.

And I dont see that EVER being lost. I cant, because it's not my country anymore when that's lost, I am not ready for that.

And I know what you mean about the certain parts of the country, but there isnt as much mixing as you'd think, we dont have red and blue states so much as urban and rural.

If you can see this one, it is like this.

*But*  they are as affraid of our godless liberal cities as we are of their rural feed stores.

Radar installations, air defenses, and drone storage.

Where those not supposed to be wiped out and destroyed already?

Clown shoes...

I read China is supplying its ally Iran with  air defference,  man pads, radar. The moment Bojo took on Russia in Ukraine with supplying the coup regime of Zelenkskii then it was a given that BRICKS CSTO etc do the same on the front in Iran

Trump threatens Iran. Says he will complete the job.
Quote:The U.S. military conducted fresh strikes on Iranian targets in retaliation for an attack Saturday morning on a commercial tanker, as President Trump threatened the possibility of restarting the war.
Why it matters: The second wave of U.S. strikes in Iran over the last 24 hours comes amid increasing tensions in the strait —and could put the shaky U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding at risk.
The latest: Iran responded to the U.S. strikes with drone and missile attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain, according to the Kuwaiti army and Bahrain's interior ministry.
  • Local media quoted the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps threatening more forceful attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and raising the prospect of the peace process coming to a halt.
Driving the news: Earlier Saturday the IRGC launched an attack drone at the M/T Kiku tanker, which was passing in the Strait of Hormuz with more than two million barrels of crude oil, CENTCOM said.
Quote:
  • "There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started," he wrote.
  • "If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!"

This is definitely getting drawn out for a while. You just can't tell, Trump is probably bluffing, I for one would like to see a better outcome than the deal we have now.

No doubt Iran will keep doing more of the same of spreading terrorism until they are forced to stop.

Pete Hegseth  stated at the start of the campaign that the military was going to go in and fight to win. Time to finish off Iran once and for all. All this pandering to the Mullahs nonsense, negotiating with these nutters is just crazy. They play games. Best bet, just finish the job
