Trump says he bombed Iran

Israel just has different priorities from the west and the US.  They know Trump won't be around forever, so they're doing what they can in case the ECL democrats come to power.

Israel is their own nation with different interests. I think they should be able to enact their own foreign policy.

Often it is different than the American people's interest, so I think it's time we let them go their way and we go ours. If America said they are out of the war, then Israel should be responsible for their own path forward. We're out, if they want to continue they're on their own.

Yes, it’s all rather prophetic-sounding, isn’t it?

Then again, if fit the first-century Roman Empire like a glove, too.

It's obvious why all the devout Christian sorts, or those who strongly focus on end-times prophecy, support Trump.

They wish to see it happen, and they think he can bring it about.

So consciously or unconsciously, they support, or are willing to tolerate his actions.

Because they think it's helping create the conditions they expect to occur before Jesus can return.

Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me... No

There was a great documentary on the subject by Tony Robinson called 'The Doomsday Code' in the early 2000s that's still very relevant and disturbing. The most extreme are very rich, powerful people who actively want to cause all of war across the middle east to trigger the Rapture. They hide it behind false claims they're zionists when in reality they're using Israel as pawns.

That said I can't blame Israel for not agreeing to the deal as it's such a bad one that puts them at far greater risk medium-long term than prior to the war or under the JCPOA deal.

The kicker being "Rapture" or at least the modern notion of such.

The idea that certain Christians will be suddenly taken up to heaven before the period of tribulation didn't even exist in early Christianity.

It was developed in the 1800s by John Nelson Darby...

As to Israel not agreeing to the deal.

I imagine that's down to the unresolved nuclear material and missile limits, Iran emboldened.

Additionally, Bibi can't stop, or there goes his base and support next...

And around, and around they go...

Quote:President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff is heading to Switzerland to join the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, for the first round of negotiations with Iran, Axios reported, citing a U.S. official.

The official told Axios that Kushner is already in Switzerland. Vice President JD Vance was expected to lead the U.S. delegation but postponed his trip Thursday night. It is unclear whether he will make the trip this weekend.

So the very 2 people that the Iranian negotiators dislike and have openly said so are picked yet again to negotiate?
Reminds me of an old saying.
Who wants to place bets that right before oil markets open a new deal will be ready to sign and Iran is begging for it?!
