Buddy, we ain't after a utopia, far from it if we are honest, given the very imperfect animal that we are.

But that doesn't mean we should not strive for at least a modicum of fairness and equality for all.

We are all stuck on the same spaceship, and heading for the very same destination.

We can do better, should do better...

And the only way we will ever build a better world is to stop biting at one another's ankles.

Put on our big boy pants, come together as one race, sit down at the table, and address the real problems we face as a species.

It will never happen all the same.

As to the younger generations putnam6, and not that i don't somewhat agree with your assessment there.

The kicker is we created them, and we will leave them with the same to similar hurdles to jump over that we failed to clear ourselves.

We’ve given more to the Middle East in aid than we have to Europe throughout history (adjusted for inflation).

One of those regions has fought in wars with us, the other is the largest concentration of Muslims who have not sent troops to the front lines with ours.

Bonus, one of the regions has a country that was hidden from the 9/11 commission report that we still deal with closely today.
