The situation is that Trump got your nation into a war.
 
Which he claimed he would never do.
 
And he can't get you out of it without losing face.
 
Nor can he secure a surrender or defeat the Iranians without a ground war, which will cost thousands of lives.
 
Now he claims he simply does not care whether the negotiations are over.

Why should America be the "leader of the free world"?

Why not Britain, why not France, why not Poland or Germany, why not the whole EU? you know a coalition of countries

Why not India or Indonesia and thier massive populations?

Nobody else wants the job hell, lots of Americans don't want it

Most countries and coalitions don't want the hassle and headaches of being the leader of the "free" world in 2026, because they are struggling to maintain their own governments and populations.

They can't lead themselves, much less the "lead-free world" bullshit.

I don't think he's playing politics, I think he's actually trying to do the right thing.

I think the problem for Trump is that he believes backing down now carries a greater political risk than pressing on with his war.

And good intentions don't exempt leaders from the consequences of their actions.

If he's genuinely trying to do the right thing.

Then he should be willing to reassess the risks and knock-on effects.

I don't think Trump knows much about war.

And i also dont think he is willing to listen to those who do know the score.

Again, it's a hell of a predicament, and one that he should never have placed your nation in, imho.
