Trump says he bombed Iran
(06-01-2026, 09:15 AM)SteamyAmerican Wrote: When they go after Turkey and Egypt, I’ll remember this missive. Greater Israel ain’t gonna build itself. It’s why all the poor Palestinian farmers need to be harassed and treated with violence by those Israeli colonists, er um, settlers.

And when the “boogey-man” is “got”, who will the CIA/IDF have a go at next?

Remember, in order to be the good guys, you have to have bad guys, or boogeymen.

Im just not sure the indiscriminate bombing of woman and children is the way to do it….

It's not perfect. Yet what do you do when Iran is i the eastern Meditterranenan? No peace will happen. Iran has to be eliminated from Lebanon, or nothing will change. On the Turks, they are palled up with Israel behind the scenes. I don't believe israel will have a bite at them anyway. They've got plenty of arab land to peck at before any real confrontation. Egypt, well what's to be gained? Israel can supply Egypt with its massive new gas field, plus the gas field it is taking off Lebanon too. Surely Egypt is like Turkey, too much of a regional power for Israel to take on. Yet who knows what is in the future. I guess someone has the plans right now  Lol
BREAKING!!!!

NOW WHAT!

Trump's ceasefire collapses as Iran ends peace talks over Netanyahu's fresh bombing campaign
Quote:Iran has severed all diplomatic talks with the United States, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire by bombing its proxy militia Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Iran's top negotiators on Monday stopped exchanging messages with the US through Pakistani intermediaries as Tehran vowed to fully shut down the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Iranian state-affiliated news outlet Tasnim.

The report claims Iran cut off communication because it believes one of the preconditions for the ceasefire was a halt to the IDF's continued attacks on its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon.

The regime says 'No dialogue will take place' until Israel fully withdraws from Lebanon and also stops attacks in Gaza, according to Tasnim.

I’m sure many will celebrate Israel going directly against our wishes and interests to keep the war alive.

They’ve received more aid from the US than any other country, and their population is smaller than many of our states. We’ve spent more on aid to the whole region than any other, and yet none of those “allies” have sent troops for our wars, much of which were in that region for their interests.

Just in the last 25 years, we spent over 10t in wars, not to count all the other costs like the VA at home, which is sadly neglected. The suicide rates for soldiers and vets should be one of our biggest embarrassments more so than the debt that we just ignore, and both sides say doesn’t matter when they’re in power.

I'll take a guess

Antisemitic, anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, anti-data center, anti-AI, anti-Digital ID terrorists
This War was a gross blunder, assuming it would be a quick victory, much like Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

Iran is not defeated and is not backing down.

Sure, it has no navy or air force but it still seems able to keep the Strait closed and to strike targets in the Gulf States.

The War seems to be very unpopular at home, with the mid terms looming.

Trump needs a way out, but how?

And no, I am not a supporter of the mad murdering Mullahs.

But, it is what it is.

A steaming great disaster.

Trump says talks with Iran continue 'at a rapid pace' DPA Mon, June 1, 2026 at 1:55 PM CDT
Quote:US President Donald Trump says that peace negotiations between Washington and Tehran are continuing.

"Talks are continuing, at a rapid pace, with the Islamic Republic of Iran," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Monday.

Prior to this, broadcaster CNBC had quoted Trump as saying that the other side had taken too long and that the negotiations had "started to get very boring."

The US and Iran have been wrangling over a framework agreement to extend the ceasefire that has been in place since April 8 and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite the truce, both sides have repeatedly exchanged fire.

What date is it?

This could go longer than that still.

How long is a piece of string?

Or more to the point, how expensive?

Trump was elected on the promise of dropping energy prices and keeping America out of wars...
