Amounts of killings in Africa are being minimized.

Iran pales in comparison to the resource wars by the bigger powers in Africa. Look at Wagner.

You are all over the place, grasping at straws for excuses.
As to the poor sods, Iran has recently executed and slaughtered, to the tune of 40,000 or thereabouts.
Trump and his administration knew about that also and did nothing to prevent it at the time, so...
Not only that, Trump had been deporting Iranians back to Iran as late as the end of January this year.

Unfortunately, the only way to win this war is to continue bombing until the irgc is done, wiped out, all killed.
Since the irgc is responsible for tens of thousands of their own people, they have no other alternative than to fight.
You must develop the ability to be disliked in order to free yourself from the prison of other people's opinions.

That "only way to win is wipe them out" idea is a bit flawed, DB.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is embedded in Iran's state.
So you can't neatly eliminate them without massive escalation and loss of life.
And history shows air wars don't reliably destroy regimes or end conflicts.
Which means boots on the ground, and those boots have got American feet in them.
Good luck with that because 1000s of people will die.
And that is a piss poor consevative guestamation at best.

The harsh alternative is that we, the US, surrender.
And then the whole world loses.

I get that, and those optics look terrible...
Hell of a predicament that Trump should never have put your nation in, imho.
Looked terrible in Vietnam also.
But the world is still here.
And you would not have lost per se, you would simply have choose to go back home before somebody got seriously hurt.
Be the bigger man and all that jazz...
Trump can't do that through, and i get that it's somewhat wishful thinking on my part.
He got to "keep it real."

Once you cross the Rubicon, there is no going back.
I know innocent lives will be lost, innocents are always casualties of war.
But we have to crush this regime.
Crush the irgc.
*boom*
The world will be better for it.

Seems to me it's another step toward a third world war.
Something the world most certainly won't be better off for it.
We are supposed to learn from history, buddy, not repeat it.
Then again, as if Trump's ever opened a history book...
After all, it's kind of hard to learn from something if you think you know better.

When have we ever learned from history?
Iran hasn't, or we wouldn't be in this position.
