But everyone NOT in The USA may actually want us to fail miserably and burn now.  Trump has ratcheted up so much disrespect to NATO allies for "depriorotizing defense" and spent so much time berating them for lax immigration policy, there is going to be an assured contingent of "go fuck yourself."

Well have support everywhere, but never above 40%... except in Israel. Where Trumps approval rating is always high. 

But if you retract the view of America and listen to REAL global consensus; we are now the rich jackass at the party that doesnt realize everyone there hates them except their agent and the 5 guys in white around the hookah in the corner.

Everyone else may be saying: 

"You made your bed, now go get fucked in it. I thought we were nothing without you and you WERE NATO? You didn't need us, right? Well, then you can fly around the EU countries." 

I dont want us to fail. 

I want minimum US casualties and a swift resolution. 
And really hope he can just scare or bluff them into submission without significant risk of losses. 

I did read The Navy cautions the "Littoral Combat Ships" aren't considered ready and are wrought with problems.  As far as saying the little crappy ships are largely untested or unreliable for combat, let alone mine sweeping. 

I just see stuff like that and start to think we may be a walking parable of too much hubris with all this.
