Trump says he bombed Iran

Lmao why don’t you jump on a ship and sail thru there right now, that is if you don’t have a problem playing frogger with their mines and dodging missiles and drones.

Please tell me I don’t have to explain to you why it’s currently closed.   It’s actually a brilliant strategy.  It CAN’T be open right now, it’s not safe to do so, this shit isn’t rocket science people.
Apparently I’m in cult now, someone here told me so.

Our destroyers have middle fingers painted on the front.

Are you telling us the Iranians will only attack oil tankers?

Stock picture.

Again, destroyers are not supertankers.

What im telling you is clear.

One thing is not the same as the other...

Aside from that, they both float on water...

Again, a destroyer is not a super tanker.

And why did they turn off their transponders if they had nothing to worry about?

It's the US job to do whatever Trump says.

And when he says jump, you ask how high...

Paying any kind of "toll" to the Iranians in order to allow your ship to pass through the Strait is a violation of the sanctions imposed on Iran.

They turned their transponders ON.
ON as in “hey terrorists, looky over here at us crossing your imaginary closed strait, come get some”.

Iran didn’t even fire a shot out of anger.

Is Iran only attacking civilian oil tankers?

Im sure the conflict isn't helping but I had not considered the energy struggle in Europe was what it was already.

According to the house of commons:The UK’s energy crisis began in autumn 2021 and continues to affect households and businesses today. It was primarily triggered by a surge in wholesale gas prices, exacerbated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and is deepened by the UK's high reliance on gas for electricity generation. I think I can see your side of it much more clearly now. The U.S. has a surplus and our net exporter for gas is no where near what we intake for energy. This conflict will add to your strangulation. No wonder you guys are against everything the conflicts of the world are killing yall. Thats nuts. Idk what to say lol

It's not pretty ReturnofBroccoli.

But all people can do is get on with their lives.

Nuts yeah, thats a perfect assessment if im honest.

The kicker is that even with your energy surplus.

The US won't be immune to price fluctuations...

Just a little more cushioned, but there is always a knock-on effect.

Yes, Iran has supported groups like the Houthis and others in the "axis of resistance."

But saying they fund "most all terrorist organisations" is a bit of an overstatement.

The Houthis are primarily a Yemeni civil war actor.

They receive Iranian support, but they are not a fully controlled proxy.

And on your nuclear point, US intelligence assessments have repeatedly said Iran has not been actively building a nuclear weapon, even if enrichment is a concern.

So framing it as a single coordinated master plan flattens a messy, multi-cause regional conflict.

And yes, Israel is a close US ally, but it's still a state with its own strategic interests.

And its military operations across Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, which have been widely criticised for civilian harm.

Did you read the wording in my post where I said there’s many facets to this operation?

I never painted anything as a singular reason as to why we’re there.  It would be ignorant on my part to even try.

You mean ships that cannot fire back or defend themselves, aka soft targets, I imagine that makes perfect sense, don't you?

Hence, the ability to traverse said strait.

Which remains closed to just about all traffic, so...

What are you paying per liter?
Is it more or less than the Irish, who are currently going to flog their government.

Granted Krusty, but it's a sh#t show.

With no easy solutions or end in sight...

It's the reason why the previous seven POTUS chose to stay out of open conflict with Iran.

So Iran is only attacking soft target civilian ships and your weak ass country wont do a thing about it except blame Trump? LoL

Better air up those bicycle tires and start chopping firewood.

Diesels around £1.40-£1.50 per litre.

Which is a kick in the nether regions imho.
