Xi does not have to explain anything. Its called war, and we arm everyone during ceasefires. Is CNN attempting to display or elicit faux outrage over typical war actions? We are also moving a fuck ton of weapons and manpower to the area. To be outraged at China is to be outraged at ones own government for doing the exact same things. Alternately, there is this link at WION discussing the same topic without a paywall.

Truth be told there is going to be another attack as soon as everyone relocates and reloads some of their weapons. Come one now, lets not act like we have not already seen the pattern for years now. Qatar showed some footage during an investigative series on Al-Jazeera called The Hidden Is More Immense or something. But it is done on their Arabic channel and I am having trouble finding it on
youtube. However SouthFront uploaded relevant videos.

Some of the footage aired by Al Jazeera also revealed that Al Udeid Air Base, located close to Donha, took some serious damage as a result of Iranian strikes.

In addition, footage showing several strikes on Ras Laffan Industrial City located in northern Qatar. The city includes the world’s largest liquid natural gas (LNG) export hub, processing and exporting massive amounts of gas from the North Field to global markets.
The Iranian strikes on the city forced the state-owned QatarEnergy to declare force majeure, temporarily halting the export of LNG.

Al Jazeera also shared footage showing the wreckage of one of two Su-24 fighter bombers of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force that Qatar claimed to have shot down on March 2, just three days into the war. This was the only such aerial operation by the Islamic Republic.

And then Trump will have to spin that the prospects of this being a short-lived war we've "already won" just slipped into the winds once China made Iran its Ukraine and The USA it's Russia. 

Because since 1949, the world only does proxy wars. 

Bound to happen, but it will certainly put a clamp on whatever dog's tail this ceasefire was actually wagging.
