Trump says he bombed Iran

It doesn't matter who funded it your guy made it up and pushed it out, he could have gone public with the request and do the right thing but he cashed his check and did the crime. For the record the members of the GOP who did fund it should also be tried and convicted but that is a separate battle. Which points to exactly why we need to stop f-ing around with the rest of the world and get our house straight.

Well sorry if you feel like a leech, I try to keep GB out of it as they do more then most planet as well but i'm sure we can both find our countries many faults fairly equally.

Most of Europe wasn't paying shit for NATO that's a huge bill we have been fronting for a long time and it's existence did keep you relatively safe I would bet with out us around to fund it you guys would be in a world a shit right now but hey as long as you don't have to lift a finger when some crazy government kills 45k of it's own people so you get cheap gas right, who needs NATO when you can just let it happen.

I’m American.

also, NATO funding is like 5b a year. I think we pay like 20% of that. We’ve spent more in Iran already than the “huge” NATO bill for many years.

The disparity is what countries pay for their own militaries. But most of the enemies post Cold War were shadow boxers we overreacted to and in many cases created.

It's hilarious that you guys say this every day like you have some inside info.

You guys don't have a clue.

The USA has the greatest military commanders in the world, they are running this operation.

Gas prices have taken a slight hit but that's to be expected and the stock market is down slightly today from the highest point that its ever been.

Stop clutching your pearls and relax, it will be over soon.

Based on our prioritization of it, I’d be led to believe I’m more likely to die from terrorists than hitting a deer with my car, choking on food, falling in the shower, which all have more deaths.

Maybe if we want to reduce the threat of terrorism, we should stop mowing the lawn every ten years in the Middle East.

I don't know, maybe stop driving, stop eating and stop showering then.

Can't compare any of that, they are not the same.

Meh, I don’t go through life worrying about all the risks in the world. Couldn’t live if I did that.

I’ve been told all my life there’s some country in the Middle East who is just itching to nuke us, yet here I am.

I see more of an effect in inflation and debt from those perceived threats more than anything. The debt and inflation will mathematically be a huge issue if we don’t address it, which no one is even trying or giving lip service to anymore. Middle eastern threats are just speculation.

The military know what they are doing and they are doing a great job with what they have been tasked to do.   Outstanding destruction of Irans ships and airforce etc.    The problem comes when Trump talks.   Honestly, he is all over the place.   Two weeks in he said he could stop the war because it was pretty much over and we won.    Now a month in he is gearing up troops for land assaults.   Building up.   And at first he said he'd only accept total surrender and no nuclear program at all.  Now he has backed down all the way to saying he'll accept partial control over the Strait and a civilian nuclear program.

The military is exactly what you said.   Awesome.

The Commander in Chief .... not so much.

That's why I don't listen to much of anything he says.

But he is the president, I voted for him and he is doing most of what I voted for.

The alternative would have been a Harris/Walz administration of woke, DEI nonsense, open borders etc.

Quite simply, we dodged a fucking bullet even with Trump's rambling.

Listening to him is a small price to pay for having our country back.

I agree.   The alternative would have been MUCH worse.
OKAY ....  Two things ...

- We now have proof from Iran that there are ongoing peace talks even though they claimed not.
- We now have proof that the war isn't being coordinated well between Vance, Trump and the military.

US/Israel Bombs Iranian Official Brokering Peace Deal with JD Vance

Quote:JD Vance’s peace talks with Iran may have been blown up after a key figure helping plan the summit was wounded in US-Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday.   Kamal Kharazi, Iran’s former foreign minister, was injured when a residential building in Tehran was struck, according to the New York Times.   Kharazi, 81, is seen as a moderate and widely respected foreign policy figure within the regime.

Iranian state media said he had been overseeing engagement with Pakistani officials to help organize a meeting with Vance aimed at ending the war.   Iranian officials condemned the joint US-Israel strikes as an 'attempt to derail diplomacy,' even as Donald Trump insists he wants to wind down the conflict.    Vance has emerged as a key behind-the-scenes voice pushing for diplomacy, warning the President against any slide toward a full-scale ground invasion.

You are in the same boat, just as hilarious and clueless, just not in a funny ha'ha sort of way.

Can you name the greatest military commanders in the world running the sh#tshow?

As to your gas prices have taken a slight hit, strange considering your energy independence...

Anyone may conclude that knock-on effects are also a thing in the USA.

As to what will all be over soon, America's retreat i should imagine, while claiming victory without any sort of surrender.

Or another Vietnam...

I mean it remains to be seen what Trump will do next, simply because it's not always what he says, and sometimes the complete opposite...

So if you must clutch something, i suggest you grab your own n#ts.

Because all this fine and dandy, everything is going to plan routine.

Well, the world ain't buying what Trump's shoveling...
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."

Yeah.  Weird.   Shouldn't be happening.   We don't get our oil from there.
All I can think is that people are price gouging.
Jacking the prices just because they can.
