Trump says he bombed Iran
(03-30-2026, 09:57 AM)EXETER Wrote: How do reach that conclusion?  Spain literally simply said that they are not going to allow their bases to be used for offensive purposes in the war against Iran.  That's pretty much the definition of abstaining.

Previously, they have said that they will continue to honor all their commitments to the US for use of their airspace and bases under NATO and other treaty obligations.

By recently not allowing military flights to pass over Spain concerning attacks on Iran (in the story I posted). Not that it will make to much difference.

I remember the arguments in support of Trump building the ballroom were because 'we didn't have a proper venue to host lavish parties for our dignitaries and it's embarrassing...forcing them to use portapotties on the WH lawn'

The ballroom is just a cover for the real build underneath

People are saps

"Trump reveals the military is building a fallout bunker under his new ballroom: “The military is building a massive complex underneath the ballroom.” It’s not about the ballroom but the bunker underneath, which indicates that Trump is ready to make something big in this world."

I wonder how much Russia is getting for the use of their propaganda 'machine' and if China and Russia are also helping out Iran with their nuclear 'issues'??

The United States is pretty much the mortal enemy of nations like Russia and China.

And yet look at who Trump wants to canoodle with and cuddle up...

The same people who are actively providing targeting information and intelligence to Iran.

Makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine imho.
"Yet so it is, we see the illiterate bulk of mankind that walk the high-road of plain common sense, and are governed by the dictates of nature, for the most part easy and undisturbed. To them nothing that is familiar appears unaccountable or difficult to comprehend."
So Trump is always lying, but we believe Dimitri Medvedev? Makes no sense?

This could be part of the confusion... Trump is hearing through different sources at least a possibility, and it would definitely throw a monkey wrench into the fog of war.

Or, as somebody suggested on Discord, Trump could have just signaled to the no doubt other factions in Iran vying for control, we need to talk to a different monkey than this one.

Or Rubio and Trump are playing good cop, bad cop. Till they know for certain who they are talking to is the head cheese, numero uno Grand Poobah.

Or it could be an amalgamation of all possibilities

What would make even less sense is to push so hard that you have the contained Ukraine War spill over

whilst UncleSammy is playing whack-a-mullah in Iran.

Especially with a weak-kneed, war-weary NATO

Hopefully they are watching to make sure as Iran does it, they do it right. Nuclear nations have a lot of regulations, safeguards and inspections in dealing with it. It is going to be very much in Russia/China interest to keep an eye on the situation. While Iran is not a direct threat to Russia/China at this time, who know what the future holds if they make it through?

My understanding is that your armed forces are geared towards and built around the possibility of having to contend with the likes of Russia and China simultaneously.

As to the silly NATO jibe, you might wanna change the bait...  Saint2

Medvedev offered his opinion
That's what he said, "This is my opinion"

Trump habitually proclaims statements of facts that many times, turn out to be lies

There's a difference
