Trump says he bombed Iran

At the Olympics, it has generally been America, Russia and China in the top 3. With China's trade advantage and population, they have been set for a while to pick up the pieces as the USD declines. They are patient, if it takes 2 years or 20 years, they know their day will come eventually. They do have a reputation of being hostile with conflicts on their boarders, otherwise not hearing much conflict globally. War is more of a research and development opportunity.

With the way the international money market is, lot of different competing currencies and assets out there. Going to be a bad day for Earth if they all disappear overnight.

Oh i don't doubt their potential...

There's more to this in my view than just Iran and more about freeing up the Straits for world trade and putting pressure financially on Chiiiiina.... as per Venezuela.
China is a far bigger threat to world economics and peace than Russia is. Chiiiiina is the boogeyman.

I think the US is, involved in 2 wars at the moment, just invaded Venezuela
Could you blame anyone to standing up to the US

Bugger. The video does have an AI vibe to it, also a bit China. China do have real time over watch with AI support. As a source, keep on the radar.

They didn't invade and are not at war with Venezuela.
To quote Killary, with a twist... "we came, we saw..... they breathed a sigh of relief"

As to any other Western country "standing up to US"..... more fool them long term.
Yes, we (UK) wont forget Trump's disparaging remarks about our troops in Afghanistan for example. However, the nuts and bolts of it is, if this current conflict starts spreading into Europe, hopefully it wont other than sleeper cells, but if it does, NATO and other EU countries can kiss their own sorry arses goodbye.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but your words will never hurt me" comes to mind in such a situation.

How do reach that conclusion?  Spain literally simply said that they are not going to allow their bases to be used for offensive purposes in the war against Iran.  That's pretty much the definition of abstaining.

Previously, they have said that they will continue to honor all their commitments to the US for use of their airspace and bases under NATO and other treaty obligations.

Quote:Iran Advances Strait of Hormuz Toll Legislation Amid Transit Assures for Non-Hostile VesselsPublished: March, 28 2026From March 25-27, 2026, Iran implemented legislation to implement tolls on Strait of Hormuz transits while guaranteeing passage for non-hostile ships carrying humanitarian aid, and including those returning from transits with tolls imposed. Events related to this effort included ships turning back, UAE readiness for security force deployment and US diplomatic proposals - these developments taking place against the backdrop of partial closure impacting global energy flows.
Iran has taken steps to formalize toll collection in the Strait of Hormuz while assuring certain vessel transits amid regional tensions.

Quote:Inside Iran’s ‘toll booth regime’: How Tehran chooses who can pass through Strait of Hormuz

Analysts say Iran has imposed a “de facto toll booth regime” in the Strait of Hormuz and its parliament now plans to formally implement a system for charging ships transiting the critical maritime route.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints because a fifth of the global oil supply typically passes through it.

Desperate shipping companies are willing to pay millions of dollars per tanker in order to pass through the Strait, analysts said, given the extent to which the US-Israeli war on Iran has inflated the price of a barrel of oil.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has already started ordering ships to submit full documentation, obtain clearance codes, and accept escorted passage through a controlled corridor of the strait, according to Lloyd’s List, a global authority on shipping.
Iran’s parliament is pursuing legislation to “formally codify Iran’s sovereignty, control and oversight over the Strait of Hormuz, while also creating a source of revenue through the collection of fees,” lawmaker Mohammadreza Rezaei Kouchi said, according to Fars and Tasnim news agencies. The arrangement was “entirely natural”, he said.
