But yeah Im multitasking and busy AF today, so for brevity, my filters are turned off.
Im not trying to be an ass, Ive been told that's just one of my natural talents.
I'll talk about the ancillary BS if, occasionally, we can talk about the war on the ground.
For instance, last night I heard of an attack on PSA, supposedly 3 tankers damaged according to a decent source on Discord, wanted to check here, verify, and discuss, but it was a full-blown bipolar opinion discussion on politics and why it's a cover-up. Stuff we talk about 1000 times on dozens of threads.
Not that it's not important too, just during wars thats my focus, I just need to talk about the actual war elsewhere, it doesn't resonate with you and many others here either.
I like James Dunnigan's Dirty Little Secrets war books, and here we get Tolstoy's War and Peace treatment.
Looks like Zelenskyy realizes he needs new allies too, ones that aren't attached to Putin's energy nipples

If someone refutes your claim, it's thread drift. If they note you brought it up, it's semantics.
I get it dude, you're frustrated that not every comment in the thread is actionable intel from the ground. Some people are talking about theories and offering opinions.
I'll make sure not to reply to your two posts above this one noting a no kings protest. Wouldn't want to thread drift again.

Do you really think they are all getting paid to do so?

A letter, dated 26 March 2026, from the commanding general of Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) and Marine Forces South, Lieutenant General Leonard Anderson IV, to all Marines under his command stresses the importance of being ready to deploy in light of current operations in Iran, going on to say that a mass mobilization could become reality.

I have never been a Marine. But I have worked with many...
I suspect that the reaction a civilian would have to this is a far cry from how any soldier might.
The prime function they each embody is not 'alien' to them.
Marines know - without baggage - what it is they are expected to do...
and their honor is bound to it.
Don't ever expect Marines to be 'demoralized' by media noise... even the disparaging stuff.
But the dissent can be considered insulting...
and things that can be considered insulting,
usually will insult someone.
The ranking Marine issuing this letter wasn't talking to "us"...
it was for active duty Marines under his command...
(Whose family affairs must be kept in order... it's only logical.)
To sacrifice one's freedoms, in order to offer service to a nation...
it's a choice that must be considered from the context of honor...
or it's only "a job"...
