If Iran pans out, the left is screwed, and if this was doomed to fail, logic suggests most would be ecstatic as the midterms are in jeopardy as well as 2028...

If it doesn't then you are screwed.
How's Trump's disapproval rating going?
Please don't accuse me of being drunk again.
It's childish and unpleasant.

Good, OPEC countries want their economiss and globalism more than muslim kinship. Plus The Saudis have a bunch of ridiculous sky stadiums to build by 2034.
The Gulf States are considering what now?
With Israel?
I think we weren't supposed to tell the press MBS supports a ground invasion... one side of his mouth had to make an official statement preferring peace, but that from Saudi Arabia is something.
Is everyone too distracted by window displays of Bibi and Trump to see how this completely changes the global stores inventory?
We want geoplotics to add a bunch of high-end halal options, gilded accommodation, and fashionable completely optional hijabs.
Let's not tell Saudi Arabia to do ANYTHING. Given they asked us politely to show restraint initially. Riyadh's sonewhat conflict averse support and willingness to float involvement in offensive strikes is evidence of "times a changin" in real-time.
It has more the properties of a GLOBAL "controlled burn" than "crazed warmonger starting WWIII." At least when you throw in the Gulf States.
I fear isolationism less now that I hear Trump is doing near daily calls with the Saudi Prince on this "opportunity to remake the world."
I wonder if Bibi Calls when he's on the phone with MBS and he has an internal conflict of which populist to prioritize?
Are the three doing nefarious warmonger conference calls yet?
I also believe it was naive to think this could be done by airatrike alone, and Trump might have to bite the LBJ bullet and commit troops with one side of his mouth.
But at least with Trump the two sides of his mouth are equally loud, and both lack any filter whatsoever, so it is just somewhat confusing at first glance.
Amazing and fitting the least popular thing he's ever done is the one thing I support...
This is why you have DI street cred... and I read your posts, still. You are a unique thinker,
Thats 2 mentions of LBJ recently, but who's counting? What's the infatuation?
Is it his wartime presidential abilities?
Or is it being sarcastic, and Im missing it?
If 8-10% of the left agrees with your rational and reasonable assessment, then the war isn't the nail in the midterm some pretend it is.
There are still 1000 ways it can go sideways, but only a handful of ways it can go right.
Feels like all Iran has to do is stall and play 4-corners

I just dont think people see how much Saudi Arabia is the lynchpin of the powerful muslim world. The world itself even.
The Home of "The Religion of Peace," compulsory for its own citizens as it may be, and also the country with a fucking sword on its flag, is THE country most positioned on the middle ground of East and West. In almost every way too.
The key member of OPEC between a NATO and a BRIC. The one that can actually bring peace with minimal effort and keep China and Russia at bay simultaneously. And this path is absolutely one that accommodates their role to become a global peace mediator.
I dont think it will get to any extensive use of ground troops, of all the things Trump considers a minimum of US casualties is probably one of them. A prolonged conflict being another. Both would likely turn his base, and his cult of personality isn't mandatory enough to win that war.
And I might not trust him as much I trust the proverbial strings of glorious capitalist objectivism to Riyadh, Dubai, Doha, Manama, and Kuwait City.
The rich capitalist oil muslims all really want Tehren out of their modern civilization club.
I think we're too socially occupied running in the Trump neurosis hamster wheel to see the the current changing of the global guard representing Allah.
Something that literally CAN remake the world.
So it processes socially like this suite instead.

I'm having a hard time believing this.
I guess we'll see as time goes on.
1 - I don't believe what Trump is saying.
2 - If Iran really said it, I don't believe they will hold to it.
And who in Iran is doing the agreeing?
Their 'supreme leader' is legless and in a coma.
Trump Says Iran Just Agreed to No Nuclear Weapons
Quote:Iran has agreed to never have nuclear weapons, President Donald Trump said Thursday, signaling that Tehran has met a key U.S. demand to help end the war.
The conflict has raised global concerns over nuclear proliferation, as Iran’s nuclear program has been a central issue for the president.
“They’ve agreed,” he said. “They will never have a nuclear weapon. They’ve agreed to that.” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

Fair enough, you said, please...
But you're wrong as usual. Im screwed, regardless, needed to get 4/30 complete orders shipped, and one supplier did not. So I'll be drinking a shot or 3 or 4 tonight as a result

Since Iraq isn't being attacked by Israel or America ... that pretty much means nothing.
Unless Iraq is saying it is going to protect Iran, which doesn't seem likely.
Considering their past.
