Women are oppressed everywhere — but that is not what this thread is about.
OK lets see if I can turn down the heat here... and refocus
The oppression of women in the West is not on the same degree or scale as in extreme Islamic countries.
Sugarcoating it and pretending it is lessens one's credibility.
Especially if one is an extra-vocal activist about body autonomy and a world without borders. Is my main point, while being fully aware thats mostly how humans are conditioned
The sheer luck involved in one consciousness landing in America while another lands in the Sudan, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, or Iran, the randomness of it all...
We'd have different viewpoints if we were Iranian, much like we were told to try to understand Ukraine's plight
We have to do that here in Iran as well
Fair enough?
The emphasis of the issue of Iranian women's rights is one of my bellwethers for a superior mission. Positive social change without it being the primary or secondary goal.
I get it's not essential, it's almost a side quest, icing on top. At this moment, probably less than 20% probability. But still worth hoping for
Why? Because I think all the other mission parameters will be met in 3-4 weeks. Not that there won't be pockets of resistance and remnants of the IIRG and guerrilla warfare, like there always is. It doesn't equal a failed mission; it's too early to tell, but my perspective confidence is high.
Im plugged into the UAE and Israel, getting hard hit at the moment. Well past, why are we doing this mode?
This is virtually in real time
Regime change has too many variables at the moment; a military junta is obviously still able to launch attacks, thats a completely understandable military REALITY this early in the timeline
Even as some want to argue the political whys and why nots.
Im in Discord mode, you are in Deny Ignorance mode
There will be time to discuss this esoterically, later
the situation on the ground, skies, and water is still very fluid PTP
