No, overall strategy is not always classified. In WW2, get Hitler. In Iraq get Saddam. Ground invasion, regime change. 

What makes this war 'classified'.    I don't understand why you say that.
We know what the objective of this war is.
And it's being fought in public eye, reported on as it goes.
Strategies to make those objectives happen are always classified in every war.
I'm still not understanding why you call this war 'classified'.

I think that might be a war crime.

I find it interesting that people are quick to point out potential war crimes from Trump, but fail to state the war crimes that Iran has been engaged in for the past three weeks, targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, and threatening water de-salting plants.

You cannot target civilian infrastructure essential for survival, like water, electricity, etc.

You are supposed to know better.

The United States presents itself as a country that upholds international law and norms.

So when it's accused of actions that can harm civilians.

Like bombing their power or water systems, eyebrows are apt to be raised.
