Trump says he bombed Iran
(03-19-2026, 06:29 AM)WallFlowerActive Wrote: So. Europe push Putin out of the Ukraine yet?

Could that be a deflection and a whatboutism I wonder??

You do realise Europe have been supporting Ukraine since Russia invaded???   How many years have Russia been stationary in it's 2 week operation??

Maybe you shouldn't be asking, as Russia have lost a whole generation of soldiers in underestimating a foe?? I hope it isn't a lesson Trump will learn

They already have been at war on the west for 40 years.

The goal of the current Iranian theocracy is to use any means to wage war and bring under heal any populations they can capture. Always has and always will be there goal.

Not the ones living like rulers in the current Iranian theocracy that didn’t leave when they could during the fall of the Shah. I think many actual living people under the Iranian theocracy long for the liberties they had in the 1970’s. The majority of the people in Iran living under the violence of the Iranian theocracy want what most people want. Is that wrong.

That's just childish caricature, not a credible analysis.

Iran isn't a monolith of cartoon villains WallFlowerActive.

And they did negotiate and comply for years with the "Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action" verified by inspectors, until the deal collapsed.

That alone undercuts your "never honor anything" nonsense claims.

Also, "40 years of war on the West" is rhetoric, not reality.

The regime is authoritarian, but its goals are survival and regional influence.

Not some comic-book conquest of the world.

And congratulations, you finally got one thing right, many Iranians do want normal lives.

That's not controversial, it's obvious.

But what is normal for them is not the same as normal for us.

People are different, you see, and they don't all fall into the neat little boxes you want to put them in.

You can't bring your flavour of democracy to a nation that follows Sharia law, it just doesn't fly.

More whataboutisms??

Maybe try and look at the price of things like helium and it's uses in all these data centres or even LPG??

No.  It’s a fact people in Iran had more liberties in the 1970’s

Sorry.

Quote a source on how the inspections were actually going.  Not false assurances.

And yet when Iran gets billions they dump billions into terrorism, attacking free shipping, and building and shielding infrastructure to purse building nuclear weapons for the purpose blackmailing.

Except those secret underground sites that were violating the treaty.  Huh.

Sorry.

The same thing could be said about your own nation, so...

What's the point? You won't like or choose to accept any of the information provided that doesn't fit your narrative.

You have already decided that the inspections and procedures were/are all rigged.

Just to add I don't think they were perfect either, but it was a form of active cooperation and a foot in the door, so to speak.

The US also funds military allies and operations abroad, spending hundreds of billions yearly.

It supports partners like Israel and the Gulf states, and conducts strikes and operations.

What's good for the goose and all that jazz...

It's pathetic, but it is the colour of the day.

How many people arrested in the UK for memes in 2025.

The UK has many more means to find people guilty of liable and slander. And fine them.

What churches in the US did the US government close.

I asked for sources. And asked a simple question. Was Iran since 2015 hiding nuclear sites.

So. The US should stop dumping money into Europe, NATO, and the Ukraine. The US should stop its navy and aiding allies from protecting free shipping threatened by Iran and China.

China and Iran are a real threat to shipping. China is a real threat to nations coastal waters. Can you say the same about the USA?

Libel and slander (Defamation) are not criminal offences

Yeah, America doesn't have any secret underground sites conducting spurious business, research, building nasty, nefarious toys and weapons, that violate treaties.

And if they were secret, how do you know they were violating the treaties(not that i doubt that they were)?

Stab in the dark, Israeli intelligence?

I mean, it's a sh#t show, but you must be able to see what it is.

Because they are all covered in the same mud...
