Trump says he bombed Iran
(03-17-2026, 04:51 PM)Maxmars Wrote: I guess that's essentially the notion that I telegraph (not so well.)

Everyday, I see people applying reason to "the advertised world of business and politics" and coming up with only memes and often well-placed mockery.

I mean, can a reasonable person actually say that this "theater" of reality fully-crafted by government, or cabals, or pirate barons clearly has no place in reality...  It is being foisted upon us as some manner of offering.  And that troubles me... because it means ... the spectators they expect us to be are supposed to simply watch (gripe if you must) ... and that is the end of that.   (anything outside of that is dangerous)

And society allows us to "be OK with that."  At least it does now.

I find that kind of scary.

I know I can't trust any report containing the form of "somebody said something."  If you strike that from the current 'global' news cycle.... there is hardly ever any news that is truly "open to see."

They only investigate where a sponsor will pay them to.  They only report what the sponsor will pay for.

That's not news... that's mostly mind-bending bullshit...

[In regards to how Europeans often speak of "Americans."
(That poison comes from the one-note narrative you have been exposed to for generations...)

Most nation-minded individuals choose not to ever express that...
Americans are just people, as we all are...

scientifically no more or less than "Russians, Romanians, Chinese, Uyghurs, Laotian, Iranians and Irish" or any 'flavor' you must cling to for meaning...

but to continually engage in populist rhetoric, encouraging a disparaging attitude about Americans...
speaks to maybe how we might actually live on a different register...
(Continuous mockery breeds contempt, most literally... monkey see, monkey do.)

However, freedom of expression allows me to say such a thing...
whereas the proper response might have been a good ol' American:  "Says you!"  Tongue

Except to call it out ... it must be admitted up front...

Americans are so much like everyone else... they have the same exact bad habits consuming 'produced' media.
(or maybe that's related to "what we're "told" as well?") Thumbup

(Born verbose...)

The disparaging remarks are not about the American people, it's about the Trump administration and their aggressive and illegal actions worldwide.

The American people voted for what they thought was a 'peace President' and 'America First'. The fracturing is clear to see within and by the people of all countries, the Republican Party, and also MAGA.

What matters is what we observe on the worldwide stage, that being, most are against your country and Israel's expansionist wars.

Its dissociation mate.

If Trump thinks Gavin Newsom is POTUS.

Then who does he think he is?

"Deranged, dishonest and disgusting"?

And his apologists wail about TDS?

How about DDD?

This is beyond acceptable.

Apparently, Cuba is next, and he can do anything he wants with the war in Iran going so well.

Flabbergasting.

Quote:Dwight D. Eisenhower. In February 1951, shortly after becoming the first Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) for NATO, Eisenhower wrote in a letter or statement:

"If in 10 years, all American troops stationed in Europe for national defense purposes have not been returned to the United States, then this whole project [NATO] will have failed."

This reflected his view that NATO was intended as a temporary measure to help Western Europe rebuild its own defense capabilities after World War II and stand on its own against the Soviet threat—not a permanent U.S.-led commitment with indefinite American troop presence.

- ready to back Trump against Iran!

Bill Mitchell

@mitchellvii

The Baltic nation with 1.3 million people declared full support:

"We will be ready to offer any kind of support to the US or to free world countries."

That's the spirit of real allies stepping into the fight when it counts.

This small powerhouse is showing bigger nations how it's done - no hesitation, no excuses, just willingness to defend freedom and secure global energy flows.

Trump called for help on the Strait of Hormuz, and Estonia answered loud and clear.

The contrast is glaring: while European giants waffle and whine, Estonia punches above its weight with courage.

This is what true partnership looks like - standing firm when tyrants threaten the world. America First thrives

when genuine allies show up. Estonia's bold move reminds us that size doesn't matter - resolve does

I think you may find there are about 400,000 more Muslims in the USA.

And the situation now is caused by a similar problem, with Trump not knowing what to do, and the disruption to the oil market.
