So Trump posted on X:
"In a post on Truth Social, he says: "We no longer 'need,' or desire, the Nato countries' assistance — WE NEVER DID!"
Sorry, but he is clearly demented and off his head.
Hardly statesmanlike, is he?
Spoilt toddler, more like.
What an embarrassment to the US.
Time to remove him. 25th Amendment I think?

This fella takes a lot of ""tests"" does he not?
As to coming out of NATO.
America is one of the founding members.
Additionally, did the U.S. Congress not pass a law saying a president cannot withdraw from NATO without approval from Congress back in 2023?

Absolute Muppet.
More like compromised by entropy.
I honestly don't think he understands the implications of his actions.
Or worse, simply does not care.
And the truth is its not like he's going to be around to have to pick up the pieces.
Considering his extended age, and poor health.
It's like he's been knocked back for the Nobel Peace Prize that many times, he's just decided to go in the complete and utter opposite direction...

America is one of the founding members. That doesn't mean anything.
Founding it doesn't mean that member is any more special than any other.
Any member can leave, for any reason they wish.
Last poll I saw said 68% of Americans like us in NATO.
That was last year. It may be different now.
Side note - Only about 50% of Americans support the United Nations.
That's the last poll I saw on that.

I asked GOOGLE AI - Yes, the United States can leave NATO by providing one year's notice under Article 13 of the North Atlantic Treaty. However, the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act prohibits the President from doing so unilaterally, requiring two-thirds Senate approval or an Act of Congress.

The fact that such a discussion took place in 2023 says much to me about what was 'in the works.'
Imagine that... it is illegal to not 'belong' to the M.I.C. Globalist club...
Noice.

When did he ever need approval for a few strokes of his Sharpie?
