My point was…..none of them have made it personal and murdered thousands of Americans like Iran has done with their terrorist cells and funded proxy wars.  Make sense now?

I think it’s a fairly mutual agreement between Russia and China, that they won’t be nuking the US.  If they did it would all be over.  

N Korea is the wild card. Their gov needs to be taken out and held accountable for the atrocities they’ve committed to their own people.   Problem with doing so is….if the US invaded NK they’d wipe out SK.

Are we talking about in Iraq? All of those soldiers would be alive if we didn't lie about going into Iraq in the first place. Also, Iran wasn't as much of a regional power before we toppled Iraq. They were at odds with one another, and Iraq countered their regional influence. Once it fell, it created a vacuum for Iran to fill.

We spent 20~ years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban, and create another failed state. 

My guess is, a vast majority of the population of Iran isn't old enough to remember why they hate us. But we're sure giving them a new reason now aren't we?

People make the claim that if they had gotten the bomb, there is no doubt they would use it on Israel and the US. Based on what? Is everyone implying they're a completely irrational actor? They've attacked many of the regions countries, I think that is dumb, but not irrational if they are supporting the country who is attacking you. How many wars have they been in since they overthrew the Shah? More than us? I don't think so. You could say they had the proxy wars too, but so have we.

Obviously I'm not defending Iran, or saying they have some moral high ground here. They're an oppressive dictatorship, if they fell the world would be better off for it. What I'm doing is asking if we've been told the truth to about their intentions and ambitions. And I highly doubt that given the fact our track record in the Middle East isn't good, and we've already lied about Iran in the summer and now. 

We're at a crossroads with them right now. It's clear the regime isn't going anywhere purely from airstrikes. We haven't even been talking about the nuclear part recently, and the enriched uranium is still unaccounted for. Is this worth boots on the ground or an occupation? I sure as hell don't think so. I don't think it was worth engaging them on behalf of Israel. I can think of a lot more pressing matters that effect most Americans than Iran. But we sure found a way to make Iran effect them now.

point being that for 50 years US leaders, experts, elected officials and others including Trump have advised or advocated against direct confrontation or hostile engagement with Iran

Biden, Obama and B&H Clinton all said Iran can not be allowed to have nukes.  

Apparently breaking your agreements, violating sanctions and blocking nuclear inspections has consequences, who knew?   No one but Trump has had the balls to step up and do something about it.  Sanctions and inspections certainly didn’t work, did they?

Hell, you all would be the first people whining and blaming Trump if Iran obtained nukes.  Nothing he does will ever make the left happy, nothing.  

Trump has found 150k kids that Biden trafficked and lost.  Not a single peep of gratitude for this administration doing so, go figure.

They facilitated the trafficking of almost 500k unaccompanied minors.   They’ve currently found almost 150k of them according to DHS.
