Trump says he bombed Iran
(03-14-2026, 01:17 PM)Waterglass Wrote:  I only hope that Prez doesnt abandon all those Iran citizens who are against the ruling party.

He already has - the US doesn't mention regime change or liberating Persians from the regime in their objectives in the war.  The fate of otdinary Iranians/Persians has been removed from rhetoric used prior to the conflict that foccused on their oppresion. The US is solely focused on it's own objectives not what is best for Persians, Kurds and the Middle East in general which is why this conflict will last for decades,

He's put all European allies at risk by removing support for Ukraine and instead siding with Putin and lifting oil restrictions. If European forces relocate to Hormuz it puts Ukraine and European nations at risk of Russian attack.

Trump asking China for help shows how utterly screwed up the US war on Iran is and how little Trump knows about geo-politics. Is he wanting to share intelligence with China despite China supporting the regime and giving them intel on US targets? Why has he done a complete 180 from constant China bashing to claiming he now wants to help them have access to oil?

Trump is making Biden seem competent with his failure to have any plan in Iran and being unable to remember what statements he made less than a week ago.

I agree.

He hasn't understood the absolute quagmire he would create by directly attacking Iran, and now by helping his 'pal' Putin, he's also helping Russia extend it's war in Ukraine.
And by inviting China to his party, he's also showing Xi that he doesn't know what he's doing, and offering him a blueprint for how not to attack Taiwan.

One can only speculate what Mossad might have on Trump.

Xi and Russia, too.

Maybe

The Iranian leadership has been taken out. Its new leader cannot or will not show his face. Its air defenses have been ineffective, destroyed or both. Its navy is largely gone. So It has now effectively blocked ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway vital to its own economy. US media would have you believe Iran has turned the tide in the war because blocking the strait never occurred to US war planners. You can choose to believe this. I don't.

I see you're not keeping up with current events?

This was always going to be an asymmetrical war, and it appears Trump and his yes men never understood that from the very beginning.

The U.S, could properly bomb Iran for next 4 years (just like Putin in Ukraine) and other than running out of very expensive ammunition, Iran will still continue to resist.

Edit to add and make clear....

If Trump had attacked Iran the day after the Persian's had called on him for help, then Iran would of been fighting 2 battles (1 within, and 1 outside of Iran). He completely missed that opportunity.

So true.

But the diehard Trump fanatics will swallow his BS, like always.

He now wants us to send our warships, after slagging us off?

I hope Starmer has the balls to tell him where he can shove it.

If Epstein was a Mossad op it appears they have plenty - ;ersonally I lean more towards Epstein being a Russian intel source as Mossad seems too obvious while his links to the Kremlin and Putin weren't reported on. Trump goes out of his way to bend over for Putin which makes me think they have extensive kompromat on him.

I can't see Xi having much kompromat on him but may well be wrong - they're more focused on stealing intellectual property and military tactics than Presidents but who knows given Trumps cry for China to help clean up the mess he has crerated.

Liberating the Iranians shouldn't be our objective.
It should be THEIR objective.   It's up to them to do it.
If we go in with guns and do it, it'll never work.
They have to forge their own future.   With their own lives.
