I think the 'greater Israel' thing is silly.  Not possible.  Not the plan.

I think the thought that the administration greatly underestimated that Iran would keep going even after their navy and airforce are wiped out is the real story.   Trump administration expected Iran to fold after the airforce and navy are wiped out ... expected them  not to be able to close the strait ... but Iran are religious fanatics with millions of disposable lives at the ready ... they will not stop EVER.

A 'greater Israel' encompassing the map you showed isn't possible.    There are 7 million Jews in Israel.   They couldn't hold all that land that they supposedly aspire to hold.   The map is silly.   Absurd, even.   I'm very sure that Netanyahu isn't out to make that happen.   He can't.

Trump Says Putin Might Be Helping Iran

In a Fox News Radio interview that aired Friday, President Trump acknowledged that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be assisting Iran in its military efforts against the United States.

 
“I think he might be helping them a little bit, yeah, I guess,” Trump told host Brian Kilmeade. “And he probably thinks we’re helping Ukraine.”

 
“It’s like, hey, they do it and we do it, in all fairness,” the president added. “They do it and we do it.”

... and Trump brushes it off as no big deal.
Didn't his administration foresee this happening?

Like someone is trying to hard to turn Iran's 50-year declared war against the West, personified in Israel, into another meme of "oppressing" the little guy... which has been the cultural one-note song of this regime... the 'call to support the little guy" ringing loudly... as they drip terrorist poison in their openly despised adversaries' world.

I would weep if the goal of Israel had become to exterminate their neighbors... I don't think though that they are strangers to any side of the issue of oppressive relationships...

Frankly I only hear one clarion call regarding Israel in the region...and that consistent, generations-long, activist-amplified call has been 'destroy the Jews."

I think most should understand that American 'sentiment' has only one policy in that regard...

Increase Israels status as a superpower?   Sure.   
All the nuclear countries would like that for themselves.
But no way in hell is anyone trying to make the Israeli map look like the 'greater Israel' map.
