Oh and the lame argument of housing being unaffordable is also bs. People think they deserve more that what they are worth because they have a false since of entitlement, just because you got a degree doesn't mean you get a job. You have to actually be worth a damn at producing results which doesn't require a degree. Modular houses can be afforded by anyone working a management position at a McDonald's they just think they are above it and they are not. Quote:Clayton Homes prices generally start in the $70,000s for, with many models available under $150,000 to $200,000 depending on the region.

Your list was anecdotal experience and inflation coming down (but still above target) Average age for first time homebuyers is 40 now. You can say it’s BS, but we’re the richest nation on the planet. People owning homes has always been a core tenet of the American dream. Not everyone has to do it, you probably shouldn’t at minimum wage, but they are unaffordable for most people making median income. That’s a problem considering we don’t even have a positive population rate for an economy built around growth. Probably won’t be a problem for older people, but certainly the future of America.

To be fair the Straight of Hormuz is officially closed, it looks like insurance companies are refusing to insure any vessel and it's cargo if the decide to use the Straight of Hormuz. Maybe that practice should be illegal. So as of right now it's enter at your own risk.

Lots more death, destruction, and turmoil ahead; there are too many leaders, countries, and moving parts involved. Nothing this extensive ever goes smoothly, at least it hasn't in my lifetime. But I understand Im a bit older, and so we may have differing viewpoints here. hopefully Im wrong

I am flattered you remember my posts, though. I'd have to see the post to recall the exact context, but more than likely, I suggested Monday to counter some other purely speculative, far-off date The situation is fluid as hell; getting the Strait back open could still happen by Monday. Right now, they are playing whack-a-muslim cleric; sooner or later, they will whack the right one.
