I'll quit posting if the Strait is closed for 3 weeks or longer...

Looks like the oil companies and distributors are taking it seriously. Here locally I've watched the price of gas over the last 48 hours and it went from $2.54 and then to $2.69 and I just went in town about an hour ago and it's up to $3.09.
Hopefully this chokehold doesn't last too long.

Profiteering will account for the lion's share of the increase.... every single time this happens years later we discovered our reserve situation made it even more likely to be used for 'higher' profit markets.
How soon before the realization that we have all the oil we need?

& I was wrong, it wasn't you who predicted the Strait to be reopened by Mon. it was someone else
This is what you said:
"Wanna bet how long the straight is closed?
This will not be a protracted event.
IAF expects air superiority by tomorrow"
I remembered that discussion because I thought it was a pretty bold prediction
Ha, well, it sounds like something I would say...
But you noticed I used protracted, which is a little more open-ended.
If they are flying A-10s, and it sounds like they are, they have air superiority.
A-10s will eat the drones up as the swarms have lessened to spotty at best
3 weeks tops....

Well
Like I said
if the goal is to crash the world economy
closing the Strait would assumidly play a role to that end
It could take a few weeks
Then again, things might start to break a lot sooner

3 weeks would be unprecedented historically. its not impossible its just unlikely to last that long
