The officers, who have been in service many years to gain their rank, and are in charge don't suddenly turn into Christian fundamentalists because of who is in the White House.   And if you look at what the officers were supposedly saying, you can see that it's not Christian fundamentalism at all.   They talk about Iran and the end times in the bible .... but the bible doesn't include Iran in the end times prophecies.   What the officers are talking about sounds like the MUSLIM version of the end times prophecies ... not Christian.   Planted story.  So I think it's a fake story .. fake information .. and since this is a conspiracy board I think a separate thread on this topic and a deep dive would be a good thing.

But alas, a vast majority of Americans didn’t want this war. You can look at this very thread which goes back to the first conflict in the summer. It was dead after that. Even people here who talk about how necessary it was weren’t asking for it leading up to now.

Go back to the summer and they said it prevented a war.

Now go to Electionbettingodds.com and take a look at what Polymarket and Kalshi are pricing for the midterms. Ask yourself if it was worth it. Ask yourself if adding to the already record debt is worth it. Those are rhetorical, because I know you’ll say yes. To protect us from the Middle Eastern boogie man that has consumed our foreign policy for half a century. Same thing over and over and over. Thousands of US service members gone. Far more committed suicide since, and trillions of dollars.

The same talking points were done with Iraq. Most Americans don’t believe all the middle eastern  fear porn anymore.

The only reason this is happening is it’s the last chance for Israel to drag us along. Once Trump and the largest generation are gone, America is don’t doing the bidding of Israel.

Iran's teetering the coalition as it is needs to just keep nudging in the right direction, but everybody is worried about gas prices.

Stabilize Iran and Yemen and the gas prices will stabilize permanently. Might as well give the good old college try

Nope.

I'm saying I think it's planted for two reasons.

1 - That's not how the US Army works.  I was in it.   I know.   You have a point that I'm from a different time period but I think people have gotten LESS religious over time rather than more.

2 - The bulk of the story is that idiot fundamentalists in charge are telling troops that this is fulfilling Christian End Times prophecy .... but if you look at the bible and Christian End Times prophecy you find that Iran isn't a player in it.   It's the MUSLIM End Times prophecies that have Iran as a player.

Being that this is a conspiracy board, I think this story would be a good thread to discuss a conspiracy.

I have to agree, even though getting rid of the Ayatollah was a good idea, a better planned exit strategy would help enormously, especially when you consider how Trump bullshit's how he's the best president ever, and has the best team.
