I have wondered if the concept of rights can be fully understood by the tools we encode to offer protection for them...

essentially, rights exist at all times, as they are recognized and asserted.

Rights cannot be given... only relaxed, overcome, negotiated away, or taken.

Anyone's "right" is whatever they say it is until it is 'applied' to the circumstance...

I agree with what you said to Cherokeetroy.   The same narrative inserted into every place is technically off-topic.   It is off-topic here.   I'm not enforcing OTs.   I'm hanging out at DI in hopes of helping its last gasp be as dignified as possible.   Did the same for ATS.   Doesn't get any easier.   This inserting Epstein in almost everything has become tiresome.   There are other members and even perhaps a moderator or two that do the same thing.   Give it a rest, please.   Talk about Epstein stuff in Epstein threads.
