Read that again. Air superiority over a nation of 88 million people with the largest ballistic missile arsenal in the Middle East, accomplished before the second sunrise. Here is what that means in physics, not politics. The HQ-9B air defense ring protecting Tehran was inactivated. The S-300PMU-2 batteries that Russia delivered in 2016, the crown jewel of Iranian integrated air defense, were struck in the opening waves alongside their associated radar systems. The IDF conducted 700 sorties. CENTCOM hit over 1,000 targets. The New York Times confirmed that half of Iran’s ballistic missile launchers have now been destroyed across the June 2025 and February 2026 campaigns combined. Half. Iran entered 2025 with an estimated 3,000 ballistic missiles and roughly 400 mobile launchers distributed across hardened sites, tunnel networks, and dispersal positions refined over three decades. The IRGC Aerospace Force built the most sophisticated road-mobile missile architecture outside of China and Russia. Ghadr-1 variants with 1,950-kilometer range. Emad precision-guided reentry vehicles. Kheibar Shekan solid-fuel missiles designed specifically to evade Israeli early warning. That architecture is being dismantled in real time. Britain is currently in a hostage situation. The Prime Minister and UK Secretary of Defense keep repeating over and over again, "we were not involved in Iran", "we didn't help the USA". They are terrified of what their Muslim captors will do to them.

You should read my previous posts, as those still stand. I covered that sorta.  Well the murdered rebellious women...  And no one said anything mean. 

I just got too many likes, and too much positive reinforcement for my political views makes me uncomfortable, so i gotta do an obligatory one of those too... but leave it somewhat ambiguous. 

Though I call it pragmatic thinking. 

And really...  Has Trump thought beyond just hoping for the opposition to suddenly organize a government before they choose the next supreme ruler? 

It really seems like the plan is "depose evil regime and hope for sparkles and sunshine without committing ground forces."

There exist "proper" ("safe/"ideal") ways and means to "take away" a loaded weapon from a child.  There also exists every other "incorrect" maneuver toward such objective-- which only serve to effect unacceptable casualties and unintended consequences.

I am very grateful this timeline has been "handled" accordingly.

They were negotiating. Or so they thought. Now their leader is dead.

Another key here to remember, is IMO the bombing initially done last summer was already well in the works as Trump took office and signed on, and was a soft-launch of where we are over the weekend. Neither Israel nor the US ever had any intention of diplomacy. Just its cover.
