Trump says he bombed Iran

TV news reporting that Trump and his team have stated there are numerous 'exit ramps' for the operation and that they have a plan going forward.   They have not said the plan.  And they won't say what the 'exit ramps' are because of security reasons (which is understandable).

Only time will tell if this was a smart thing to do or not.

I wasn't sure, but the more I think about it the more I think that you have to do the small skirmish now in order to make sure the larger nuclear war doesn't happen.   Iran has said that they will wipe out Israel, USA, and USA Allies ... so why not take them at their word.   They have boldly proclaimed their plan and they are trying to get nukes.   Common sense says to stop them before they get them otherwise they will fulfill their plan.

Another key here to remember, is IMO the bombing initially done last summer was already well in the works as Trump took office and signed on, and was a soft-launch of where we are over the weekend. Neither Israel nor the US ever had any intention of diplomacy. Just its cover.

Trump says he's going to keep this war going until the objectives are achieved.

But what are the objectives? 

He's gone from stopping uranium enrichment and nukes to regime change.

Then we have the likes of Lindsey Graham saying "we actually dont care about regime change."
