You are arguing the socialism and communism are vastly different but for most people they are both Trotsky Sniffing Marxism and the counter argument is none of that garbage actually works to better humanity or society and in fact always results in worse conditions for average citizens unless propped up by capitalism.

I would suggest that your take collapses basic political theory into a slogan.

Socialism and Communism aren't interchangeable buzzwords.

And neither reduces to caricatures of Trotsky or Marx.

Plenty of high-performing countries, like Sweden, use strong social-democratic policies with capitalist markets and deliver better healthcare, education, and living standards than those in your own nation.
