It was weird that they were all synchronized.

The Kremlin has given its response to the US peace initiative: give up Donbas, no NATO and no Western troops on the ground in Ukraine. And certainly no ceasefire.

In fact, Russia hasn't budged an inch from its position pre-Anchorage. No summit with Zelenskyy. No trilateral summit with Trump. They're open to nothing except continuing, time-wasting low-level talks of the kind that have already been held, without result, several times before.

And how has the Great Peacemaker reacted? By bailing. He's given up!

Trump backs away from Zelenskyy-Putin peace talks.

That's right. He's given up. He's tired of all this diplomacy, all the hard work it takes to get two warring parties to sit down together at a negotiating table, all those annoying interruptions to his golf schedule. He's given up hope of a Nobel Peace Prize and nobody has forgotten his Epstein cover-up, so why continue?

The moderators had better close this thread now, before the facts become even more embarrassing.

It would be wonderful if the war ended now, without Trump sending boots on the ground to make that actually happen.

From what I've been learning is that it was the U.S.A. that was pushing NATO further east towards Russia and causing Russia to think they had to take measures to ensure they had continued access to the Black Sea.

Great job USA in keeping your war machine up and running.

Happy to see that you read  at least part of the article.

I'm not sure what you would consider a more reliable journalistic procedure than the well-established  one implied by by the phrases you have quoted. It is part of journalistic ethics to protect one's sources. Care to explain what you think is so funny about these methods?

So how are Trumps new sanctions going Xuenchen??
Oh that's right Trump seems to have backed out of the sanction threat he made just before his meeting!
Then Trump claimed a few days ago that it would be impossible to win the war without attacking Moscow and then told Ukraine they aren't allowed to attack Moscow!!

Quote:The US has blocked Ukraine from launching long-range missiles into Russia just days after President Donald Trump suggested it would be "impossible" to win the war without attacking Moscow.
US officials told to the Wall Street Journal that a review mechanism was introduced earlier this year by the Pentagon that made it almost impossible for Ukrainian forces to carry out strikes on targets inside Russia.
The revelation comes just days after Mr Trump posted on his Truth Social platform slamming the former Biden administration for not allowing Kyiv to "fight back".

Why would he place more sanctions on Russia before "all is lost"? Putin and Zelenskyy still need to "talk" (yup sure Zeke). When that breaks apart, then watch who gets "sanctioned"  Lol

Zelensky wants to talk.  Putin doesn't.

Who will TACO blame?

Who knows how he will flip flop.

Do you?

Maybe because Trump said so?? Remember the line "10 to 12 days" he so proudly stated!!

Now Dementia Don is sending arms and telling Ukraine they can only win if they attack Moscow, a few days later telling them they can't attack Moscow.

The guy can't hold onto a thought for more than a few seconds before something shiny distracts him.
