Yes, I used to work with a woman I respected a lot, who was from Romania, all of her family is still there, as of 2010 or so.

Her family was wary of organized crime in Romania and compared it to Russian and Ukrainian in its depth and how much it influences governments.

If the Ukrainian parliament was full of thugs before , why wouldn't it be now? It is only 5 or so years since the last person I called out was in office (2019)
Did Zelensky entering office magically clean it up?
Also, when a new President takes office does that automatically replace the cabinet or parliament?
