For the record: In 2016 NATO told Ukraine that it had no realistic chance of even being considered for NATO membership for at least another 20-25 years......2036 at the very earliest.

Which makes the NGO/MIC corporate involvement such as with contractors like my father circa 2006-2012 even more dodgy, in my humble opinion.

Strangely enough I was just looking at his profile, seems he hasn't visited here for quite some time.

Before he abandoned ATS he disappeared for a few months a couple of times then returned with an avalanche of threads.
Once he had pressing family business that he needed to attend to.
He is a journalist of sorts and possibly may be researching something.

I got on well with RT prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he's clever and quite funny and likes a drink and a laugh - good attributes in my book.
We certainly didn't agree on everything but it never prevented us from getting along with each other and respecting the other's opinion etc.
Sadly that changed somewhat the moment Ukraine was invaded and we developed a sort of love/hate relationship.

Hopefully this senseless war will soon stop and we can get back to talking absolute bollocks to each other and having a laugh doing so.
At least lets hope he returns soon because he certainly generates discussion and at times provides a rather unique perspective.
