Let me know when it reaches the reproductive care average.
And they haven't even blockaded any dealerships, or killed any car salesmen yet. They gotta step it up to showroom invasions too.
Yay "whataboutism"
I never said, suggested, or inferred the extreme right was innocent and non-violent, only in reference to the quote added below, the left for sure isn't distracted by the tyrannical Trump. It's the polar opposite
Pretty much as your Trump Neurosis thread suggests the left is acutely aware of every word or move Trump makes.
Honestly, if we can't agree on that factual nugget, this thread probably needs to be moved to the short story folder.
Even if we believe the exaggerated and embellished thought that Trump's a tyrant(possibly) and he wants to make all his subjects poor (doubtful), the people still aren't occupied to be distracted and it is highly likely there are multiple factions actively plotting the possible tyrant's demise, those factions have plenty of time on thier hands to do so.
ergo Aritotle's insightful meme does not fit the Democrats' dastardly dilemma with Donald.
His mind was not for rent to any god or government, always hopeful yet discontent. Knows changes aren't permanent, but change is ....

Respectfully for Trump to be relatable to Aristotle's meme, all pertinent aspects need to be true.

Hell Thomas Crooks blows the theory that Aristiotle's quote is a viable analog with our Trumpian Tyrant
ergo Aritotle's insightful meme definitely and definitively does not fit the Democrats' dastardly dilemma with Donald.
furthermore hasn't the left read Sun Tzu's The Art of War?

The U.S. Senate votes tonight to reverse Trump's tariffs against Canada.
They say it's not 'Liberation Day' it is 'Tax Day' for the little people.

Tell me where voting on Canadian tariffs is referenced in Aristotle's tyrannical quote.

Why ask questions that are simple straw man nonsense?
Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Like the 1920s Great Depression? Aybe

So essentially Trump Neurosis in a nutshell with an emphasis on nut.
I'll just add the left had better hope the tariffs fail, otherwise... they could lose the midterms and Trump's mythos will grow along with his base.
The left's only tactic is to hope they can cry, complain enough that the rest of the country will get sick of thier whinging and help with the record number of injunctions filed
and I use left, in terms of the Democratic American voter, what you and I "think" here on this growing but small message is interesting entertaining, and humorous but inconsequential.
Quote:The practical effect of this vote on the tariffs themselves is limited as of April 4, 2025. The resolution is nonbinding and unlikely to become law because it faces significant hurdles: the Republican-controlled House of Representatives is not expected to take it up, and even if it did, President Trump has vowed not to sign it, effectively ensuring a veto. Overriding a presidential veto would require a two-thirds majority in both chambers, a threshold that seems unattainable given the narrow Senate vote and lack of House support. Thus, the tariffs on Canadian goods—currently at 25% as per Trump’s earlier executive order—remain in place unless further legislative or judicial action occurs.

As I am neither left or a Democrat voter your message is not just inconsequential it is entirely otiose.

President Newsom totally has this.
Quote:EXCLUSIVE: California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced plans Friday morning directing the state to pursue "strategic" relationships with countries announcing retaliatory tariffs against the U.S., urging them to exclude California-made products from those taxes, Fox News Digital exclusively learned first.
"Donald Trump's tariffs do not represent all Americans," Newsom said in a video announcement posted to X. "And on behalf of 40 million Americans that live in the great state of California, the tentpole of the U.S. economy … the dominant manufacturing state in America, our state of mind is around supporting stable trading relationships around the globe."
Newsom added he's directed his administration to seek out new opportunities to "expand trade" and "remind trading partners around the world that California remains a stable partner."
We need to invite Xi for a state visit or something? Have a Sino-Californian Trade Summit.
How's that gonna work though? Why would they do anything for our State/Country if we are not soveirgn enough to exempt them reciprocally?
Even if you say: "California supports a one-china policy" at most they'll use the state position to undermine Trump. They might be up for that though.
Not one shread of our relief is going Myanmar, like would under every previous administration we had, but China's doing it. Making a point of doing it. Their winning the Hearts and Minds and becoming the world's lesser of two evils superpower too.
Plus it might be fun to be part of sino-english-latino hybrid society... I mean officially.
After a car accident you could yell at people for hitting your "Tā Mā De" car. The incorporation of pidgin mandarin words could make it futuristic like Firefly.
The flag might suck though:
中华人民共和国 = People's Republic of China
