With the operative word being floated. OMB does that a lot, it is a flaw or a tactic no one knows but hell he has gone back and forth on the tariffs too. Let us just acknowledge he does this quite a bit and floats an idea to gauge whether it would work or not.
I'd add I read elsewhere most of these were taken from Poland and others because they were getting swamped. Now the situation is stabilized in Poland time for them to find a European country to subsidize as this could turn into a longer term than anybody thought.
Lastly, you do know Trump's 2nd intended assassin had numerous/Ukrainian connections here, and in Kyiv, it just started to heat up...perhaps it's related
Neurotic or not your stamina, persistence, and humor are consistent AF, you really should do a podcast, stand up. You could definitely write for Jon Stewart or John Oliver.
I enjoy sometimes reading the rants here on DI and ATS in George Carlin's voice and yours fit better than most.
You do know there is a good probability, that this too will be lost and forgotten by most. The Trump administration moves fast and you might have a bit of vertigo with all the twists and turns and ups and downs...
I just don't get when the GOP became the flip-floppers of convenience. Isn't not having integrity in your original position when something populist changes a hallmark of The Democrats?
I think we were played to turn against Europe exactly like is happening now. I don't think our tax dollars were so wasted that it necessitates such a drastic cutting of expenses, and using that to justify non-participation in NATO, especially where it sides with Russia.
Everything we are now doing on the global stage is now is some way advantageous to Russia. The 4 years that elected Trump were wall to wall paranoia about NWOs and WHOs and NGOs and OMG! Years of how everything we do aligns with a nefarious plan of Soros-funded monsters.
And now everything we do literally aligns with the nefarious plan of a monster and it's getting defended as somehow in our interest.
Well, best get accustomed to the culture...

[Video: https://youtu.be/AOLdn36K7Xk?si=fcLYnVp85RvxgC33] Sometimes it seems like this is the 2 dogs barking at each other through the fence, once the fence is removed. The barking stops and it's hey how are you doing, have a good day TTYL. Admittedly you are more of a Border Collie Jack Russell terrier mix, while Im just an English bulldog.
Nevertheless Im just a dog barking and sincerely hope you have a great day.
Last time I was told we would be Chinese now we are Russians, but I'd prefer Chinese... if we are gonna lose the American Dream, I'd prefer the Chinese Sleep Apnea attacks and MSG headaches and Mu Shu Chicken to Russian Stolichnaya hangovers and Borscht. Though I have somewhat acquired a taste for caviar, it doesn't sound like that's in the cards for most of the 330 million Americans now under Russian rule. I'll probably end up working in the Calcium mines till I croak.
It's not as bad as it looks nor is it as good as it looks. With all thats going on and a lot is happening, it still feels like the proverbial what's going on behind the scenes? doesn't it? Bondi and Epstein's files have hit a snag for example. The situation is still pretty fluid but we are far away from SNAFU.
Perhaps NATO has outlived its usefulness, but current Russia is certainly not the monster Stalin was, or even Kruschev. Putin isn't Gorbachov so where does he fit on the scale of Russian scary monsters
So theoretically what happens next? what's the timeline, Natasha? How long till I have to learn the reinstated Soviet National anthem?
I didn't exactly buy into the Soros stuff still think it's mostly a loose association of the rich and the connected, that may or may not try to push politicians' buttons, so that's been happening forever that some are better at it than others.
It's no different from other Bohemian Grove, MIC theories, Rothschilds, etc.
Just this was one of the first ones to hit the mainstream and be seemingly against the US interests.

Such lovely architecture and Byzantine inspired art Russia has . .
And at least Russian State Media says we're friends now! We must embrace our new best friend's beauty.
It is going to be really awkward to host the World Cup and Olympics now. There's going to be controversy when those happen. I think someone just needs to tell Trump "It's not okay to poison officials that criticize you. Just because he did it doesn't mean you can."

The people of Russia and the former Soviet Bloc are a different breed, intelligent hard-working, and often hard-drinking But generally good people. it's their leaders who were bug-chit-cray cray.
As a child of the Cold War, is it a bad thing if we turn down MAD thermostats?

World Cup in the US....
I remember the one where the grass was about 6" long and stopped the ball dead.
They were talking about making the goals bigger FFS!
What's next, a multi ball release?
I now know why I am called a grown up. Every time I get up I groan.

Because for most Americans "football" is boring AF.
But Atlanta United's first couple of years they were great and won the MSL championship and interest and attendance were very high, but every time I try and watch it I fall asleep...
Supposedly Atlanta will host the quarter or semis
It's OK if different countries have different pastimes, many find baseball boring AF.
But for Americans, there's a sentimental attachment to it like other countries' love affair with 'football'.
I can sit in the bleachers and watch baseball all spring long IF I can't have my cabin in the mountains our minor league team has apartments right at thier ballpark If I could get one of those I'd be fairly content...
Meanwhile in the UK...

Baseball is basically Rounders.
American Football? Why all the helmets and body armour?
Rugby , now that's a proper contact sport. No crash helmets and armour.
Football is the Beautiful Game.
Doesn't matter though, we'll still probably get knocked out by Germany.

And cauliflower ears... I played for two seasons, winger, so exempt from the condition.

With Thomas Tuchel at the helm, that's a given... the enemy within!

Damn sneaky, them Germans.
Once when I played Rugby I got tackled - hard-and ended up on the floor, ball under my chest and half a dozen big blokes on top of me.
I got penalized for not releasing the ball. Like, how could I?
