We just had our inaugural match for SDFC, owned by an Egyptian Billionaire and Casino Indians. It was a riveting affair ending in a scoreless draw, a key injury, and was "absolutely ruined" by horrible fans doing the puta chant.

Just a pick a freaking different word. What about perra? It means roughly the same thing when shouted at a goalkeeper, but it doesn't carry the same colloquial connotation. And if you can't use the feminine, call him a perro. A dog. We gotta allow calling the goalie at least dog in this society.

But that's what's silly about cancel culture PTSD. it took all the wrong stands and screwed up everything else. Fan chanting is supposed to be in the spirit of something like taunting Mookie Betts from the outfield. His name just makes that racist sounding, despite him just being an opposing player. It is actually a compliment for being so damn good.

It's just the way it is. Footballers gonna football. Especially if you are dealing with south of the border culture they are gonna macho with no regard for SJW concerns. Yeah, but this is extremely offensive to all the persons who identify as canines and a significant portion of the furry community, not to mention those fans with emotional support animals who are predominately dogs. The more intelligent breeds know exactly when they are being ridiculed and shamed

I don't see what's so bad about it. Of all the LGBT hills to die on, one that isn't done with a hateful spirit doesn't seem like it would be productive to police. It doesn't promote hate. It promotes home team unity with off-color rivalry chants that are offensive... to some people. The intent needs to be malicious or genuinely bigoted to qualify as hate. That doesn't have it.

If fans decided to wait for him after the game and taunt him as he's walking to the the team bus, that's different.

I suppose zero tolerance enforced. It seems counterproductive and makes it more appealing, though.

Skins can never thicken if they are allowed to remain so damn thin. And the mistake in our attempt to normalize LGBT was (the others not listening to me) making identities (all identities) a sacred cow not to be stripped of their awesomeness, whether you wanted to do it or not.

Forcing a new lexicon of terminology and inclusive (sometimes dangerous) behavior so everyone feels special is why there's Trump now.

And I'm just hoping his rollback of equality stops after the transgender. Yes, you got the transwomen out of military and sports, you didn't need to deadname them all like a phobic ass, but hey, at least you've restored competitive order for biological women trying to be the best. And also helped to remove the stigma of a queer military.... unless you count half the women, and all the men in denial.

I didn't make the indoctrination rules from the last few years, they were kind of drilled into my head and I typed my post almost without thinking. 

If it's offensive to just one individual it's offensive to us all. Isn't that the mantra



Just because canine identifiers occupy a small percentage of space in the movement doesn't mean they should be segregated into a less-than-status

Furthermore, most of those who identify as canine are frightened rather easily by loud noises, imagine thier plight as they hear the vicious discriminated chants and then they are subjected to the fireworks bursting thier eardrums that most stadiums deploy.

To truly be all-inclusive fans should be encouraged to sit quietly, sip thier recreational beverages, and occasionally whisper "good dog whose the good dog' to canine identifiers nearby at the very least. 

Let's not forget the great American Davy Crockett proudly identified himself as part Tennessee/Kentucky bloodhound...

Truth be told, my dislike for Trump stems from his stealing Herschel Walker, who had one year of eligibility left at the University of Georgia after UGA had already appeared in three straight de facto National Championship games, and from how he led the USFL to its ultimate ruin.

Well, that and his typical New York executive businessman persona... 

He brought a lawsuit against the NFL hoping to collect damages and or force a merger.

Well he won the case and the USFL was awarded 3 dollars in compensation which effectively bankrupted the USFL

otherwise, while I find his quirks and mannerisms distracting at best, none of that precludes him from being a damn effective President, we can argue his methods but he does put the wheels in motion toward seemingly positive actions most times.
