It’s almost at the point where the US should stop bombing Middle East countries and concentrate on liberating the UK.
UK had 354,000 homeless in 2024 and it’s rising faster than any other country.
I believe if the British had any good answers for homelessness, they would be putting them to use instead of what’s really happening.
Hopefully the Trump EO has some good fixes that will help the UK as well.
That rant is not deserving of a response.
If you want to wind up us Brits, I respectfully suggest that you try harder.

That rant is pure tinfoil-hat nonsense wrapped in racism and ignorance.
The UK is not "kneeling" to anyone, it's grappling with complex financial and social issues, like near enouth every nation on the planet right now.
Comparing online hate speech convictions to rape cases shows a laughable lack of understanding of the legal system.
And Trump's fantasy executive orders won't fix the UK.
He couldn't even fix potholes in the U.S ffs, never mind over here.
Homelessness is real, been there, seen it, done it, and have the hat and balloon, but blaming the minorities is cowardly and a cop out.
It's not the minorities that refuse to build affordable accommodation for the masses.
It's every single government administration since the 1980s.
If you think bombing the UK is a solution, you've confused Reddit rage with real-world logic.
I suggest you grow up.

A lack of housing is a contributing factor.
Rapid mass immigration seems like the culprit for the lack of housing.
In the US, it’s illegals causing the housing shortage.
In the UK, it’s the “legal immigrants”.
Trump is addressing that issue problem here.
Hopefully somebody there steps up.

Only when considered from a strictly nationalistic, or cultural perspective can you profess that immigrants are invaders.
Invasion implies plan... something strikingly absent in many immigrants...
Maybe we should add that 'filter' into the process?
No wait... if anyone took me seriously they might hyperbolically suggest automatic water-boarding as part of the intake processes!
And the triggered response would decimate the point....
Many (most I suspect,) are not invaders....

This blame-the-immigrants routine, because thinking is hard, is becoming rather tedious.
The cold, hard facts, are that the housing shortages here in the UK have been caused by decades of poor planning, underinvestment, and greedy landlords, not people fleeing war or poverty.
They're not outbidding you, or me for that matter, for some overpriced flat.
They dont have, first month's rent, and deposit, plus securities, and an extensive credit record.
You just need someone to blame.
And as far as im aware, in your own nation it's not "illegals" stealing houses that's your problem.
It's corporations buying neighborhoods and turning them into Airbnb goldmines.
Trump ""addressing"" it?
Please.
He built more hype than homes.
If you want affordable housing, aim your anger up, not sideways.
Basic economics 101, try it sometime.

Put blame, or where the buck stops (or many bucks stop) where it belongs.
"1.4M of the nation’s poorest renters risk losing their homes with Trump’s proposed HUD time limit"
"A Trump administration proposal could put more than a million low-income households at risk of losing their government subsidized housing. That’s according to new research from New York University - obtained exclusively by The Associated Press.
Amid a worsening national affordable housing and homelessness crisis, President Donald Trump’s administration is determined to reshape HUD’s expansive role providing stable housing for low-income people, which has been at the heart of its mission for generations. The proposed changes include a two-year limit on the federal government’s signature rental assistance programs.
At a June congressional budget hearing, HUD Secretary Scott Turner argued policies like time limits will fix waste and fraud in public housing and Section 8 voucher programs.
“It’s broken and deviated from its original purpose, which is to temporarily help Americans in need,” Turner said. “HUD assistance is not supposed to be permanent.”"
Housing assistance is at risk under Trump's HUD time limits proposal | AP News
HUD assistance needs to be permanent until the government fixes what is really broken and deviated, that being the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer; the economic pyramid scheme isn't working for the middle and lower classes.
I can see why Associated Press is not welcome anywhere near Trump because he must keep deflecting to other shiny objects so his base does not get wise.
Or are Americans okay with just incarcerating the increasing numbers of homeless that will be coming down the pipe from a lack of government action where it needs to be? Your tax dollars at work.

Quote:Richard Bertrand Spencer (born May 11, 1978) is an American neo-Nazi, antisemitic conspiracy theorist, and white supremacist. Spencer claimed to have coined the term "alt-right" and was the most prominent advocate of the alt-right movement from its earliest days. He advocates for the reconstitution of the European Union into a white racial empire, which he believes will replace the diverse European ethnic identities with one homogeneous "White identity".
