  Illegal crossings at the US-Mexico border have hit the lowest level in over half a century, according to federal data obtained by the BBC's US partner CBS News. 
  In fiscal year 2025, which spanned four months of former President Joe Biden's administration, US Border Patrol agents stopped 238,000 migrants crossing the southern border illegally, the Department of Homeland Security figures suggest. 
  During Trump's first eight months in office, there have been fewer than 9,000 illegal crossings recorded each month, CBS reported.

"As a result, Americans are safer - unvetted criminal illegal aliens and dangerous drugs are no longer pouring over our border unchecked," she said in an emailed statement.

Significant amounts of drugs were smuggled in by drug mules, people hiding drugs internally.  It’s obvious if border crossing are almost zero, there is almost zero smuggling from drug mules.  

Just another example of Trump policy improves over Biden.

Bottom line, it will be obvious once we are stronger than ever before, we don't need to be told how bad it was or how good it's gonna be.

Trump oversaw the largest crime increase in 2020 before Biden took office.  While it was obviously Covid-related does he really deserve the benefit of doubt he doesn't give?  

The two most important safety stats started spiking UNDER Trump. He doesnt get to blame Biden for leveling the crime surge that started under him. Biden oversaw their largest statistical drops after riding the crest. 

And if immigrants are to blame, why does their peak follow the crime surge?   

Why does the crime hit its largest declines as illegal immigration hit its largest gain if the two are connected? 

To draw causation the immigrant surge needs to precede the crime, not follow it. 

But really the point is,  both Trump AND Biden have far less to do with these statistical peaks in these categories than people give them credit for.  And when they happen they follow a sigma variance and bell curve that anyone can take credit for after it returns to expected values.
