Looking at the graph its under a 5% reduction. He has an impact, but the curve really doesnt have to much variance. But yeah... ill give you his immigration policy reduces drug deaths by 1/20th.
Sorry... accidentally clicked "post" too soon...
Care to actually quote and cite the source with actual context compared to what time.
Still doesn’t answer the question why the Biden and democrats didn’t care or turned a blind eye from record high rates of deaths from drug overdoses.

One thing for sure, when Trump goes down he will be pulling all those that support him down with him.
Way too many still support him IMO
Like I posted before -- in Walmart saw a guy in a t-shirt that said "I voted for the Felon". #1 reason seems to be immigration (white supremacy) -- should be the economy -- which I read has dropped.

By all means, cite 2025 trends concerting overdose deaths.
You missed the point...you are cherry-picking and won't go the distance.

A decline of about 20,000 less people dying not worth the effort?

Your quote.
So you are not supportive of reducing drug overdose deaths.

I am saying Trump has no interest in reducing drug overdose deaths because it does not serve his purposes.

And yet his administration is taking action to reduce supply, stop the means in which fentanyl is being supplied, taking on countries that provided the chemicals to make fentanyl, and stopping actual drug shipments.

Any downward usage was from Biden era actions.
"Notably, Americans are heavily involved in the fentanyl crisis, with U.S. citizens accounting for around 90 percent [PDF] of fentanyl trafficking convictions in recent years. Annual fentanyl-related deaths remain in the scores of thousands but are trending downward for the first time in years. Fatal overdoses have dropped nationwide by more than 21 percent since June 2023, data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows. The death toll dipped below seventy-four thousand deaths in a twelve-month period ending in April 2025; while that’s still significantly high, it’s the lowest level seen since 2020. Experts say the decline is in large part due to concerted efforts by the Biden administration to curb trafficking in cooperation with other countries, namely China and Mexico."
How Does Fentanyl Reach the United States? | Council on Foreign Relations
Trump is looking in all the wrong places as the traffickers are 90% American citizens continuing the supply and demand reality there.
And the fentanyl crisis there is still ongoing.

You are referring to the auto pen.
While Trump has gone on to address and confront the state bad actors / countries waging a silent war against the US using fentanyl killing 10,000’s of thousands.
I guess that’s why we are still blowing up drug running boats. The US is in a silent war with bad state actiors.
