Supreme Court Rules Against Trump’s Tariffs

The trafficking would stop if the profitability was removed. (like supplying under medical supervision prescription versions of assured quality drugs for cheaper than the illegal cartels can create them).

Yes, that US border with China.

Quote:supply chain issues, and a giant deficit.
We also have a president, for once, who is trying to fix it.

What’s going great is what Trump has been able to do so far despite the constant unrelenting obstruction by the other two branches of government.

All of those issues have existed for decades and many of them in the past have been worse than they are now. But no-one called them emergency situations then, because they just aren't.

Trump makes mountains out of molehills, painting things as worse than they actually are. His base totally believes him, but the statistics show none of his fearmongering BS.

The other branches of government were put there to counter-balance each other. Trump is a traitor to the American system in that he intends to be the sole supreme leader and is trying to deny the Constitution and destroy the balance upon which the USA is founded.

Every tyrannical dictator in human history has convinced their followers that there is some sort of emergency that requires the extreme measures they take. Don't fall for it.

Look at the actual crime, trade or economic statistics by year for a few decades.

Trump lies and his intentions are clear - he wants to rise to total dominance over all. The world totally subjugated to the USA and the USA totally subjugated to Trump.

No one seems to be able to explain why he was so soft on Hernandez.  A massive cartel drug importer.

Anyone?

I figured you would know how hard it is to stop people from doing drugs, as your beloved new Zealand is currently in the middle of a massive cocaine epidemic.
It’s easier to blow up drug shipments and get other countries to stop facilitating drugs into the country.
Maybe you should try that, instead of doing nothing.
Every president has used ieefa since it’s existed.

Explain Hernandez, please?

Your CIA has been involved in drug trade for decades.

Anyone?

Perhaps Hernandez was also 'people trafficking' in underage girls via the 'Trump aligned' modelling agencies and pageants, through to Trump's clients?

Perhaps that is why Trump feels so sure that there is no Epstein client list, because Epstein wasn't a kingpin, but just a customer?

Seems you are out of crappy arguments already and you want to change the topic.

Unfortunately, drugs are a problem in New Zealand, too. However, cocaine, while it has nearly doubled in wastewater measurements, was never a big problem here in the first place. The big problem here is methamphetamine, which has more than doubled in wastewater readings.

The issue is that over the last decade, it seems that police and court actions against illegal drug use has declined. But there does not seem to be any other serious attempts to stop illegal drug use.

It is similar to the way both our countries prosecute prostitution, but hardly ever charge those who pay for prostitutes.

And trying to stop illegal drug use by policing has proven as useful as trying to enforce road rules by interpretive dance.

Illegal drugs cause medical issues and are probably better dealt with by medical professionals enabled by well considered medical legislation.

Our current government is a right-wing Trump aligned one, so I doubt that they are addressing the problem properly.

The weapons used to blow up drug boats are expensive, and as has been demonstrated, they don't always get the right people.

Instead of this ad hoc hit-and-miss approach, you want a method of control that has no points of failure and applies universally.

Making drug trafficking and supply uneconomical (by undercutting the pricing) is assured to work. Not only that, but the purity and safety is assured, and it opens up avenues for proper rehabilitation of users.

The USA's illegal drugs from overseas mostly come in hidden in shipping containers and in luggage, and almost always through official ports of entry. Blowing up a few boats is not going to put a dent in the real problem.

The whole world suffers from a drug epidemic

That's because the Epstein class doesn't hate drugs

If the drugs don’t make it far out of those traffickers countries, they can’t end up being smuggled in.
All of those hundreds of kilos destroyed so far would have ended up here.
None of it did.

This cartel activity in Mexico today is a direct result of fighting over a shrinking narco business.
The strikes are working.
They are eating their own.

The tariffs worked and are still working.

You raised drug imports.

So explain Hernandez , if you can.  Without further deflection, if you please.
