This is breaking...but it has been originally reported that two bodies, one of a man aged 78 and another of a woman aged 68, were found dead in Actor Rob Reiner's Home today.

Subsequent reports are now saying the two victims were actually Mr. Reiner and his wife...that they were stabbed to death and that a homicide investigation is being opened.

More as this develops.

And at this time of year as well.

God knows what possesses some people to do the things that they do.

Rob Reiner was a genius in the film industry.
Politics...not so much.

Reiner was responsible for:
This is Spinal Tap....The Princess Bride...When Harry Met Sally...and many more.
He was "Meathead" Mike Stivic on the old show 'All In The Family'.

The wife remembers the names of movie stars.  I tend to have never memorized them because they are people I would never actually meet in life.  I used to learn their names, that is why I remembered Reiner's name, from all in the family which I watched back in the days when I believed it was important to know their names.  I also remember names like Jackie Chan, and of course Arnold  from the terminator...can't spell his last name though, only say it...not going to waste my brain cells spelling his name either. 

I learned a lot of professions in my life, and analyze a lot of scientific research and food chemistry properties.  At seventy years old I am trying to decide what cells to free up to make more memories of things I will need in the future.  So dumping knowledge intentionally after analyzing it's necessity is also reducing names of people I never will meet.  I do not want to replace knowledge of house construction, electrical wiring, plumbing, furnace repairing and installation and all the regulations involved in these.  I do not want to dump knowledge of agriculture, or local people's names just to remember a movie stars name, a movie star that has multiple names in different movies.  It takes way more brain power to analyze information and properly apply it than remembering names of people I will never meet.  I tend to analyze method of actions of classes of medicines, not the individual names of each med, and I also investigate what metabolic chemistries the meds are promoting or inhibiting.

So, technically since I purposely overwrote names of movie stars to make room in my brain for new things....I must have alzheimer disease.      I can't make my skull grow any bigger to make room for a bigger brain...must be caused by a lack of vitamin D.

I am seeing reports that their son did this. Judging where this all is coming from, my money is on SRA. Hollywood is rotten to the core.

Now that I read through the comments in this thread, I have another point. Too many people talking about his drug abuse, mental issues and being homeless. Did it ever dawn on any of you to ask the question of 'WHY' he had those issues? 

I'll say it again, Hollyweird is rotten to the core. Rob would  NEVER gotten to his Hollywood heights without doing the 'rights of passage'. Do your homework people.

Hollywood is made up of people.  People vary in ideologies - needs, etc.

There is no "one fits all".  They have 4 children.  What about the other 3?
