Border agents uncover RPG launcher, cache of rifles hidden in vehicle heading to Mexico

What began as a routine inspection of a four-door Lexus crossing the U.S. border into Mexico escalated quickly Sunday when officers discovered a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher and dozens of additional weapons hidden in the vehicle

I wonder if any of this was from that national guard armory that got hit the other day. Don't know where to get an RPG launcher besides a military installation to be honest. I think what was reported taken in that instance was drones though who knows.

I suppose it often feels like weapons mainly flow from Mexico into the U.S.A.

But the reality is that a significant amount also goes the other way.

What a coincidence that they both happened in Arizona

What if the unaccounted for firearms are still being trafficked across today

I lived on the border.

Except for drugs -- everything else goes to Mexico.

Never buy a used car in Mexico.

I imagine just like with narcotics, for every shipment discovered or intercepted, 9 more slip past unencumbered and/or undiscovered...

As long as there is profit to be had.

Yep. Dirty agents too. Its hard to catch but they do get caught every once in awhile. A lot of that in the prison systems too. The government likes to pay law enforcement the bare minimum its no excuse but cartel and gangs pay a lot to look away like $10,000 + etc some of these guys barely making $2,000 a month but one of the big problems is how young the government hires because they need bodies so bad they'll hire you right out of highschool. These kids don't have adult mentalities and then they gets conned like this and once they got you hooked in they own you because they keep evidence of it against you and if that don't keep you looking the other way they will come after your family.

My nation does not have any poppy fields or coca plantations either.

And yet all sorts of class A/B/C drugs are literally available via WhatsApp or Snapchat.

Customs and law enforcement are corrupt to the core.

And yeah, it's mainly younger teenagers who they have do the dirty work for a multitude of legal reasons.

Never mind the fact that they pay them a pittance, comparatively speaking...
